Use of namespace doesnot solve the problem     The function is still called Twice Instead, use the namespace to assign the result of the function to 'story_id',     This way, you only call the function once (in the namespace call) and assign its result to story_id. Thus, when you #var story_id it's just displaying a string and not calling a method.

It still gets called twice because you assigned the variable your using twice the method, you didn't *call* the method. Problem Apache 1.3.6 and Zope2b1

Hi, I prove to install Zope 2 with my Apache server 1.3.6, but I have a problem with the authenticate header. I applicated the explanations from the WEBSERVERS.txt but NOTHING. I can't enter in the Zope manager. Thanks for your answer Thierry thierry(a)glisco.it

Appending to a tokens property

Zopists, I a m trying to keep a list inside a tokens property. I am trying to add an item to the end of the list like so:  I've looked for an "append" method and appendHeader is the only sort of thing in the DTML guide. Any ideas on how to d othis in DTML like this. I suppose knowing Python's syntax for mereging two lists would be key here, so I'm off to find that. External Methods question

hello, I have read the External Methods reference located at zope.org/Documentation/Reference/ExternalMethods, and I'm trying to get the small playhouse example working. However, after calling /rsb/addPlayHouse?id=myHouse (successfully) and attempting to access /rsb/myHouse/index_html, I get a "requested document does not exist" error. My code is exactly as in the ExternalMethods document. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Sean Bowman
