The chances are that the font problem on "linux" is more just a matter of setting up fonts for the X11 server appropriately. Run 'xfsft' as a font server, and you can load Truetype fonts just fine. unknown authentication requuirement

Another hang-up...

It feels like I'm pulling teeth here. Thanks for all the help so far. Okay, here's a better picture of my problem: I have a property called numtemp (as suggested by Michel), that is an int. I have the following call to an SQL method: And I have the update_AccessCounter() SQL method: update WRTable set numruns =  It has the argument numtemp. I have also tried with:  I get the following error: Error Type: SyntaxError Error Value: unexpected token sequence.near :: ' set numruns ='*' What am I doing wrong here? Confused about new permissions in ZClasses

Hi, I'm working with some ZClasses in 2.0b1 and I am confused about the new permissions setup. Using the clean Data.fs file, I created a new Product. Then I created a ZClass that inherits from Object Manager. If I go into the ZClass and select the "Permissions" tab, and I see a familiar set of permissions listed as "Inherited permissions": Access contents information Change permissions Delete objects FTP access Import/Export objects Manage properties Undo changes View View management screens Then, I click on the Define Permissions tab. If I click the "Access contents information" drop down menu, it looks like everything *except* the inherited permissions is listed. Shouldn't I be able to select the "Access contents information" permission? Also rather interesting is that if I create another ZClass on the Methods tab of the first one (also inheriting from Object Manager), then go into that ZClass, click the Define Permissions tab. Now, I can select "Access contents information" for that permission. Database Updating

I'm trying to call an SQL method and pass a variable as an argument to it, to store the variable's value to the database. Here's the line I'm using:  The variable numtemp is who's value I want to store in the database (by the update_AccessCounter). This gives me an error about bad name or something. I'm having some system problems right now and can't copy the error. Thanks for the help! Donner

Using PyGreSQL 2.4 did the trick. If anyone else has the same problems here's what I did: Of course I downloaded PyGreSQL 2.4 and unarchived it. I copied the contents on top of the DA that bombed out- to $Zope (Where ever you installed Zope)/lib/python/Products/PyGreSQLDA/src Re-ran make. Restarted Zope. Everything worked!
