Second: Depending on the version you are using, Image objects figure out the width and height of an image when it is uploaded and store these as properties on the Image object. Older versions of Zope don't do this at all, slightly less old versions only do it with GIF and PNG images, and the newer versions do JPEG as well. You can check wether or not this autodetection has occurred by looking at the properties tab of the image. If the width and height are not present, you can fill them in by hand. Any call to the image object (like with ) will then include the width and height. Problems with changing Superuser Password

Zope Build Problem on BSDI

Hi All, Try again with a better message title. I'm trying to build Zope 2b1 on a BSDI 3.1 system. I get linker errors when I try to build using the w_pcgi.py and wo_pcgi.py scripts (same error). It's obviously not finding something but I can't tell what it is looking for. (this has gotta be an FAQ :) simply point wget or curl at your zope site, and mirror them into a directory. So long as you're not doing anything incredibly funky and dynamic, it will work.

Hi all, Can Zope be used as a static HTML page generator? I mean for example, to generate all the pages for a given site (along with any images etc) and write them all to a directory structure for later use? Stu

External Methods

I just read the chapter on External Methods. Since I am a big PYTHON fan, I love this feature. I believe now: Zope is what Cold Fusion wants to be. It is so much better designed.
