Re: Zope Documentation Plan : two words......great news !! A minor suggestion .... docs for contributed products...having used many of the user-contributed products, I have encountered variable quality of docs (i.e. "ranging from here it is, you're on your own now" to some very nice docs). Maybe a set of guidelines or a template for docs for user-contributed products would also be useful. hope this helps. Darcy

Zope crash when download big file

Hi Zopists! I've a zip file(10Mb) in zope, and when I request to download that file, after sometime zope dies. I've read some things related with ftp crash, but "my" crash is happening from an http request. I'm using zope 2.1.2(binary release, python 1.5.2, linux2-x86) . Any help? Thanx! Stop zope from adding <html><head></head> to my method

Hi, I have a method in my product called getXML which builds an XML file from subtree. However, zope keeps adding the text <html><head></head> to the start of my xml, how do I stop it? best, Jacob

This wasn't originally my line of questioning, but it inspired me...and I subsequently became stuck. I've done the following: <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('rows',MaintNames())"> and successfully set 'rows' to the value returned by the SQL Method MaintNames. I can <dtml-in rows> through the list and do fun stuff. After scouring the documentation, I still can't find how to select the values from an arbitrary row, say row 3 without combining <dtml-in> and <dtml-if> while using the sequence-item value. hi, I'm trying to use Z SQL Methods with the Gadfly DataBase Connection, but this is making me crazy!!! I can't put this working!!! I'm using the following code to create a table: CREATE TABLE Registos (id INT, nome VARCHAR(10), apelido VARCHAR(10), morada VARCHAR(50), localidade VARCHAR(30), casa INT, telemovel INT, data_nasc VARCHAR(10)) At the first time that I used this code, it used to give me a Syntax Error. Now it gives me a Bad Request Error when I puch the "Add and Test" button. I don't know why is he doing this and is this that is driving me crazy, why one time this was giving me an error and now this is giving me another one!!!!?? standard page size

Is there a way to make all pages regardless of content be at least roughly the same size? The reason I ask is because if I use a standard footer I want it to be at least as far or farther(if necessary depending on content) down the page as I determine. It's apparently been there ever since the 'tag' method was added to the Image class. Because Image and File objects shared their __ac_permissions__ structure (through subclassing) and the 'tag' method appeared in the 'View' permission in that structure, setting the View permission would work for Images but not for File objects (because the 'tag' method could not be found by the permission setting machinery. The fix was to make sure each class had its own appropriate __ac_permissions__ structure. I've checked this into CVS, so if you are tracking CVS you can update the file OFS/Image.py to get the change. If not, I can send you the file if it's extremely urgent or you can use the Folder permission workaround for now. There will probably be a 2.1.5 release at some point before 2.2 - the change will be in that, but I can't give you a date at the moment. Hope this helps!
