a patch for the calendar tag 0.9.10

Hi there, here's a patch for the Calendar 0.9.10 product. This version allows people to define their own day or month names instead of the default english names. This is very useful if you want to setup a web calendar in another language than English. In French, some month names contain accented letters, represented in HTML by character entities like é for example. The Calendar product doesn't cut the month names correctly in regard to these entities, especially in week mode when a week was between two months. ZHealth?

Hello All, Similarly to E-Commerce there is also E-Health (or E-He@lth) trend now. While there is ZCommerce here what is about ZHealth? An OpenSource project FreeMed (www.freemed.org) exists in PHP+MySQL - does anybody know about the activity (or any other attempts to build medical web applications)in Zope's part of the world? ZMySQLDA 1.1.4 install problems

I'm attempting to install ZMySQDA-1.1.4 on a RedHat 6.2 box with the following configuration; Zope 2.1.6-1 Zope-pcgi 2.1.6-1 Apache 1.3.12-2 Python 1.5.2-13 w/dev MySQL 3.22.32 w/dev MySQL-python 1.4-2 ZMySQLDA compiles fine and python imports ok. When I copy MySQLmodule.so to the products directory and restart Zope, ZMySQLDA does not show up in the Products list. All the above were installed from RPM binaries. I did manage to get ZMySQLDA working on a different machine with some difficulty. I seem to have hit a different stumbling block this time. Any suggestions? David

Iterate all request input

Hello I have a form page on a none-Zope site where a huge form sends lots of information about a visitors input to my Zope site, from where I send this with the sendmail tag. If I knew exactly what input fields they post on the nonZope site, I could write something like this: <dtml-sendmail> To: email(a)someone.com From: someemail(a)none.com Firstname: <dtml-var firstname> Nickname: <dtml-var lastname> .... </sendmail> The only problem is that I don't always know what fields they use on the nonZope site. So I can have maybe 5 or 30 input fields coming in to my Zope-sendmail. In ASP one does something like this: <% For each Request.Form in i request.form(i) %> But how is this done in DTML? And how do I prevent empty fields to cause problems? I also don't what to use <dtml-var nickname> since this might cause problems with existing objects called nickname in the namestack.

test code for reindexing problem

I'm still working on figuring out what I'm doing wrong with my ZCatalog stuff. I must be doing something wrong because my catalog not only doesn't seem to reindex properly, it also tends to get corrupted every once in a while...I think I'm doing Bad Things to my ZCatalog, I just don't know what they are. I've created a BugTrack Product and test stuff that replicates the problem. You can see it in action here: http://www.oswg.org:8080/bug_tracker/ To change the item_name property of one of the items, go to "View Catalog Listing / Item Listing" and click the linked ID number. After the item is edited, go back to the "View Catalog..." page, and you'll see that the bobobase_modification_time has been updated in the "ACTUAL ITEMS" table, but not in the "CATALOG ITEMS" table. (The catalog might also just randomly break, which it tends to do...not returning all items, etc. I have no idea what's causing that, either, but I'm hoping they're related problems). My actual code, including the BugTracker Product & example folder .zexp files, is available here: hgttp://www.dria.org/bugtrack.tar.gz NOTE: in the example "bugtrack_addForm" a method "RANDOM_GEN" is used. That's just a simple dtml method that sits at the top of my zope tree and contains: <dtml-let RNDM="_.random.random()"> <dtml-let RNDM="_.int(RNDM*1000000)"> <dtml-var RNDM fmt="%06d"></dtml-let></dtml-let> I use it for generating random IDs. I also hardcoded "http://www.oswg.org:8080/" in the "bugtracker_report" method, just so you know. - deb
