(Personally, I've been in love with Zope shortly after I started plugging away at it). My unfortunate position is that I'm the Graphic Designer so I can't actually do the work on IIS myself (though I do get to run amuck with Zope)... so I need to find definitive documentation on the IIS setup (step-for-step) for the admin to use. There was some sort've misconfiguration going on as calling Zope through IIS would launch pcgi_wrapper.exe which would then hog the CPU. These processes couldn't be killed, so the server had to be rebooted. Well, as luck would have it our NT admin built a new server from the ground up and got PCGI working with no problem. This time, no hanging pcgi_wrapper.exe or anything. (At least so far... before it used to do it right from the get-go). Right now, everything is based upon a clean install of IIS (not certain what version) and NT sp6... so I hope everything goes just ducky for now. Needless to say, the idea of having to reboot a server once it is in production... well... uhm. Hmm, it doesn't sound like the best thing. Though perhaps folks here are conditioned to it already! I haven't tried with w2k yet, but under NT4, use the mySQL ODBC drivers and the ZmxODBCDA. Works fine. Document Library Approval

We're still having no joy trying to get document submission working properly with the DocumentLibrary product. The only circumstance under which document submission approval happens (prior to the document becoming available in the library) is when we use the 'Add Document' button from within the 'Documents' document store. If we go via the document_submit DTML method then approval is never required. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would like to keep things as easy as possible, which should I choose? calling dtmlMethod from python

Can anyone please help with this, I'm new to zope and trying to write a simple python script to handle some logic which will then call a dtml method. I'm calling the method as such: context.scReport() The error I'm getting back is Error Type: KeyError Error Value: standard_html_header standard_html_header is being called from the scReport method which suggests the scReport method is being invoked but why are we getting an error?? Any suggestions, TIA Shaneo

ZSQLMethod Cache(unusual behavior)

Hi all, I am a newbie and I have a question, I have a countries table with 'country_code' and 'name' fields, the table has 211 records and the database is postgres and connection is made with product Z Psycopg (also I have checked it with PoPy and the result is the same one I explain later). I have declared a ZSQLMethod(getCountriesZSQL) with a simple query: SELECT country_code,name FROM countries. At Advanced Tab's ZSQLMethod I have managed the following parameters to cache the query: Maximum rows to retrieve: 300 Maximum results to breaks: 300 Maximum Time (sec) to breaks: 5000 I have created a DMTL Method to show a combo-select of countries: <SELECT name="comboCountries"> <dtml-in getCountriesZSQL> <OPTION VALUE='<dtml-var country_code null="">'> <dtml-var name null=""> </dtml-in> </SELECT> This is my question: When I delete a record of countries table, the table changes and I think that the combo-select shouldn´t change because is cached; but, in fact, the combo-select changes soon, over he fifth or sixth page refresh. The result changes showing 210 and 211 records randomly... What is the reason of this behavior? Does anyone know what is the solution? Regards, ZRaul. Z8-)
