structured text inner/named link still do not work

Hi, I checked out structured text from cvs. First, there is an error I believe line 908 of DocumentClass.py should read return (StructuredTextInnerLink(s[start2+1:end2-1],start2,end2) (note the : in [start2+1:end2-1]) My real problem however is, that doc_inner_link never sees the dots that mark the beginning of a named link. (which is .. [xxx]) and therefore newer inserts a named link. Any help would be much appreciated. Robert

Content-type for a method or script

I need to render an image with some logic from a request in an external (non-zope page) example request from html: <img src="http://zope/images/header.gif?UID=sdflkj"> DTML_Method "header.gif" <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('Content-Type', 'image/gif')"> <dtml-var mytestgif> my ID=<dtml-var UID> mytestgif is an 'Image' in zope. It renders fine when I test the URL http://zope/images/header.gif?UID=sdflkj But, the Method does not render when called from within <img src> in another page!!! I got the same result with a script. Please point me in the right direction... Thanks Trevor

There is a permission problem with your product. Don't worry, this should be easily fixed. Get to the manage page of the folder in question (e.g., http://localhost:8080/myFolder/manage) Then select the "Security" tab. There, you will be presented with a list of things that your users (usually in the 'Anonymous' role) can and cannot do. One of those (many) buttons needs to be set so that the average user can run the ZopeTime method (or whatever method it is that they do not have permission to execute). At first there is some trial and error if you don't know exactly which method (and there may be more than one) that you user's lack permission. Try the ones that are most obvious, but you may have to do some trial and error to get it right. I think the zope site has a URL with a complete list of the objects and methods (try the Zope Documentation Project (ZDP.zope.org)) Good luck, Ron > I install a calendar product call SempoiCalendar on our company's site which > call the ZopeTime().date() == date.Date() method to check for the current > date and highlight that event. How to get Query string in bold

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I let people search in all the Objects in a folder (with newsitems) I then would like to display the results and show the first 300 chars of the news message. This far everything works fine. What I would like to do now is if the first 300 chars of the message conain their search string to show this in bold. Does anybody have a tip for me on this subject? Greetz, James

Hello, in INSTANCE_HOME/lib/python/ZEO/start.py, the lines: module_path -- This is the path to a Python module that defines the storage object(s) to be served. Help with the mirrowing folder... (to Dieter Maurer)

Hello Dr. Dieter. Im using (parts of) your great product, the mirrowing folder to build a site, but i found something strange about the acquisition of objects below the mirrowing folder. Actually, im using an access rule (based on the localizer) to modify my requests to insert the one mirrowing folder just after the root on every url, but then i noticed that the aq_chain of objects below the mirrowing folder, contains the following: [<object>, <folder>, <mirrowing folder>, <mirrowed folder>, <mirrowing folder>, <application instance>, <request container>] I think it should be only one instance of the mirrowing folder on the aq_chain, but could figure out where is the error. Can you help me to solve this?
