Running multiple versions of Zope?

Is it possible/good-idea to run 2 different versions of Zope on the same server (using 2 different ports)? I have a Zope-1.10 application running on a RedHat 7.1 server installation (using ZHTTPserver listening to port 9673). It installed it's own Python (1.5.1, I think). The RedHat 7.1 installed 1.5.2. Can I install the current version of Zope and have it listen on a different port (and *I assume* using the system's 1.5.2 Python)? Also, where does Python v2.x fit into Zope? I'd like to start the process of rebuilding this old 1.10 application (that was dropped in my lap) using the current version of Zope and possibly (as someone suggested earlier) using MySQL instead of ZTables for the database info. Are you using the Photo product? The "old" one. I've got a product based on the Photo product, and I'm starting to suspect that there is something wrong there that eats memory. Just checking. Whoops, this was a typo. The code is actually: insert into TableName (Date) values ("10/24/2001") I'm still looking for a solution to the problem. Zope and MS Media Server Integration (Video)

Does anyone know how to call video on the Microsoft streaming media server from a Zope DTML document. I.E. in a document named video.dtml: <a href="mms://welcome.asf">Play video.</a> works just fine when viewed on the local Zope server machine, but when called from another machine returns this: http://<domain_name>/video_test/video.dtml/mms://welcome.asf Which does not work. Problem with nested Z SQL Methods

I try to do two nested Database requests. In the outer lop there is selected all the merchants transactions and in the inner loop there shall be displayed the possible (0..n) Results. The TID shall be taken from from the outer loop. This fails with an syntax error. If I set in '<dtml-in expr="Database.sqlGetResults(tid='123')" >' instead it works (but the inner loop gets the wrong data - for shure). I have this same problem; on my 2 ZEO clients on a high-traffic, Catalog intensive site, running Debian as well, I had Zope chew through all my physical memory and most of my swap (up to between 1200-1300 MB), even to the point where the system kept my clustering software from sending a simple heartbeat over the systems serial port. Right now, I have a cron job to restart Zope daily... I think for a longer term fix, I am going to try to look into what Chris M. has suggested and read that howto... For some reason in TTW python scripts, context.PARENTS[1] seems to do the same as this...
