objectValues(meta_type) in python script

Hello, I am in the process of optimizing some of my scripts and moving some code from dtml methods into python Scripts. I am trying to find an object in a folder. I know there is only one object with this metatype ('MMM Shop Shopping Cart') in the folder. But this doesn't work: for item in memberfolder.objectValues('MMM Shop Shopping Cart'): shopping_cart = context.getId() return shopping_cart Now I expected to recieve a string containing 'Shopping Cart', but I recieved a string containing 'CD001' which is a product, not a shopping cart. Doesn't objectValues() work in python scripts ? Hi, i must put in my site a link equals to the one existing in zope.org called "Printable page", but there is a problem. The web pages shown depend on values of variables sent by forms, or consulting a database, ... For this reason i can't put a link directly to the document, i would pass all the variables to show the page correctly. The variables are not always the same, it depends on what you are doing. Anyone can help me? Thanks.

Problem with DTML document properties

Hello, I'm trying to change properties for all files, folders and DTML documents in a folder. When I do <dtml-with "folder"> or <dtml-with "file"> and then <dtml-call "manage_changeProperties({'title': 'new title'})"> then it works. But for DTML document, it will try to change either current folders or current DTML document's property. Is there any restriction or smth? Sven

problem to rename folder

Hello, I have a little problem. I use this function to rename an object in my site (file or folder). It work perfectly with file but I have an error when I try to rename a folder .... Images and Acquisition

Hi all, Another newbie question - kinda following on from the earlier posts regarding images (although I guess it has more to do with acquisition). Folder Structure / /Images image1 /Folder1 index_html In the index_html in Folder1, how do I show image1 from the Images folder ?? VERY Confused!

Hi; I'm new to Python and Zope, but I'm at a loss to understand WHY this doesn't work! I have this line in my dtml code: <span class="top"><img src="images/top" width=<dtml-var "sizeCalc(1008,size)"> height=<dtml-var "sizeCalc(82,size)">></span> *size* is a dtml method and is defined thus: 1 just the number one. sizeCalc(x,y) is an external method and is defined thus: import string def sizeCalc(x,y): x = string.atoi(x) y = string.atoi(y) y = (x*5) return (x*y) I tried the string conversions because the values are being interpreted as strings (already tested that). Why your dtml method should be returning an Acquisition wrapper instead of an int, I'm not sure. I suspect that somehow the DTML method is not getting called in your dtml, and you're getting the method object instead. Konqueror and Zope don't mix ...

I've noticed some strange behavior with htmlforms GET -method. They apparently occur only when using management screen with Konqueror. I don't know whether it's also a Zope or Catalog -bug (or a Konqi-bug) but here is what happens: Konqueror: 2.1.2 Zope: 2.3.3 1) When creating boolean attributes to objects with Konqueror and then cataloging them, they won't appear boolean in catalog. They will be strings '1' or 'on' but not 1. Objects created with Mozilla show up 1:s. 2) When making a catalog to find objects of type images or DTML-documents I get too much stuff (Actually it's almost the same list with both!)! Again this seems to appear only with Konqueror. So with my little knowledge on Zope and htmlforms I've concluded that somehow Konqueror doesn't work right with GET-method or Zope doesn't.
