Dtml-with & Session

Hi all Hope someone can help me with this. I first start a session called seesion with a var called placetostore I then call my session var from another page like this. <dtml-with session> <dtml-let a=getSessionData> <dtml-let x="a.get('placetostore')"> <dtml-var x> </dtml-let> </dtml-with> This works fine I cet the var I was looking for. Now If I try to do <dtml-with x> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('ArtNo',REQUEST.form['new_ArtNo'])"> etc etc etc. Every time I get the page It get a http auth box. now I don´t have a clue why. How should I call this var x I just created? Any tips/hint are welcome! :-) thanx and Greetz, James van der veen

calling methods

Hello all again: I have a Folder named A: A contains an object obja with 2 methods (methoda, methodb). A contains a Folder named B also. In B exist an object named objb, and in this object I want to use the methoda from the object sited in his parent folder... How I can do this?

localfs image upload

Hi folks In my current code to upload an image, I call a method which contains: <dtml-call "manage_addImage(REQUEST['id'], REQUEST['file'], REQUEST ['title'])" > <dtml-var upload1sql> <p><font size="3" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="black">File uploaded successfully</p> I would like to move the images to a localfs I have called images. Any ideas how I would change the code above to get it to save the uploaded image in the images localfs and not in the ZODB? ZMI problems under W2K/IE ...

Has anyone encountered the following problem? When viewing the Zope Management Interface with Internet Explorer running on Windows 2000, the right-hand frame will not display in "edit" mode, instead showing the selected folder or object in "view" mode. The ZMI works as expected with IE under Win98, and with Netscape - but I've now seen this strange ZMI/IE behaviour on a number of W2k boxes. Any ideas? Unfortunately it isn't quite clear to me what kind of site might be a right example to show off zope's capabilites in the area you asked for. But I know one zope site (not from my company) which is heavily database driven and might go in the right direction. It is in german, but that doesn't matter. They "broker" agricultural engines and other technical stuff for farmers, and are the greatest of their kind in germany: http://www.tec24.com/ Just klick on some links (e.g. "Schlepper") until you reach a form, then just submit to see some results. They have around 15000 items in their database, and the site runs well. Perhaps your programmer should post here at the list? ;-) cheers, oliver
