Hello, does one have to pack Data.fs manually or is this done automatically at regular intervals? If it is not done automatically, can it be done from dtml or a python script? Change Date Format

HI All, What I want to do is to change the standard date format for zope. When I submit a news item or a document, it says Last modified on 2001-10-11 for example, I want to change the format to GMT, i.e.. 11-10-2001 (DD:MM:YYYY), this is for all submissions. Thanks James

XML Sooooo Slow

Hi, Just had a play with ParseXML-1.0 on Zope 2.3 on 433 Mhz Celeron portable. Edit the XML file is so slow. <?xml version="1.0" ?> <Jobs> <Job id="1">Text here</Job> <Job id="2">PNC want 10000 faxes on tuesday</Job> <Job id="3">Fisrt Choice Water Coolers</Job> </Jobs> Zope seems to run fine - just XML editing? Is this normal - clicking on the Job id='2' #text field takes approx 18 Seconds to get to the management screen. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Dave

Not sure if it's been mentioned (it probably has) but you can use SybaseDA and the (freely available?) Sybase linux drivers for this, too...

How do I check for non threading Python?

Thanks Andrew, I'll check it out. I do have unixODBC talking to MSSQL, via Easysoft's ODBC-ODBC bridge. ZClass and ZCatalog, no Search Result
