Hello, We have tried to recompile python so it gets LFS the entire night - without success .. I was just wondering (and hoping) that perhaps someone out there might have a python compiled with LFS that we could install from ?? TIA, Gitte Wange

Hi, So what kind of object I have to create in order to use the addImage function of Image.py in CMFDefault? Or what is the proper way(s) of using the addImage function of Image.py in CMFDefault? Thank you. Scott,

The total size for the EuroZope design is approx 26K. This is quite reasonable for even a slower connection. It is possible to design easy to use and nice looking web pages that are not slow. The new.zope.org is not great looking. Data.fs 2GB problem ...

Hello out there, Now the day has come. Our installation of Zope 2.3.2 has reached it's 2GB limit (actually the size of the ZODB is 2048 MB) ... What happens is that everytime we try to access the ZODB, Zope restarts ... I can understand that ... It truncated the Data.fs and creates some files named Data.fs.tr(n) ... Photo and ZPhotoAlbum

Hi. I have upgraded Python 1.52 and Zope 2.2.2 to Python 2.1 and Zope 2.4.1. The Product Photo-0.4.3 and ZPhotoAlbum worked fine with python 1.52 and zope 2.2.2, but now the ZPhotoAlbum ojects appears broken: This object is broken because the unknown product that created it is no longer installed or is installed incorrectly. Please contact the product maintainer for assistance. Also, when I trie to add a ZPhotoAlbum in a folder, I get the following error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: TypeError Error Value: Catalog addIndex now requires the index type to be resolved prior to adding; create the proper index in the caller. and the error at the end of the message. Does anybody know if the Photo-0.4.3 works with Zope 2.4.1 or how I can fix the problem? I have seen that Photo-0.4.3 is no longer maintained and that there is a new Photo-0.9.2 product. It is possible to upgrade to Photo-0.9.2 with existing photos and zphotoalbums installed with Photo-0.4.3? Thanks.

How to load PIL fonts

The following snippet bothers me. Run from the command line OK, from within Zope :- File not found ??? In my sitecustomize.py file I have appended the font directory to pythons path "C:\\py21\\fonts\\100". I did this both for my python2.1 executable and the zope python executable. I checked sys.path it has been appended. Yet run the snippet from python the font file is found, but as an external method it is not ??? OF COURSE I tried hard coding the path but all I get is ERROR: no font glyph file found :( { import Image, ImageDraw, ImageFont myfont = ImageFont.load_path("Arial Narrow Bold_18_100.pil") white = (255,255,255) black = (0,0,0) image = Image.new('RGB',(100,36),white) draw = ImageDraw.Draw(image) draw.text((0,4),'chris', fill=black, font=myfont) } What am I missing ???
