I am trying to customize my error messages. However, tracebacks are still displaying with BOBO_DEBUG_MODE=0. http://yyy.zope.org/Members/dparker/tracebackcontrol I just want them commented out. any other solution??

Is "from Strings" only allowed in External Method?

If one were to use a python script, Zope does not allow "from Strings import search" If I want to be able to search for a particular pattern in a string, is my only option an External Method? Best wishes, Ron

objectValues does not return all objects

Hi friends, I have a folder with some objects in it. Some of them I would like to treat with an external method. I collect them with a call to objectValues. My problem is that when I use a filter for the objects I am interested in I get one object to little. Any tool there to draw finite-state-automata-diagrams

do document the dialog states im doing w Zope? It just needs to draw circles and arcs (preferably anchored on the circles) with directions and i'd like to attach small text fields to both circles (=states) and arrows (=transitions). For db-design, i use S-Designor (free!!) and it sure is one of the finest tools i've ever seen. I want something similar just to draw diagrams. Thanks in advance.

Defining attributes for DTML Document properties.

Is there a way to map attributes to a property? I am trying to create an interface that will allow users more control on what they want a particular property to do. For example, whether or not the property should appear as a html meta tag in it's respective object. Ideally, flags such as this one, could be controlled via a form interface. Hi all, Does anyone have or is working on a Sybase adapter for Zope on Windows? Is there still someone working on one for Linux? I'm now trying to use the ODBC driver to connect to Zope, but I get always the following error : [MERANT][ODBC Sybase driver][SQL Server]SELECT INTO command not allowed within multistatement transaction. Anybody an idea what this means? Thanks in advance! Tom.

More specifically, when you created the ZClass, was CatalogAware the FIRST base class you chose in the list? Also, are your indexes refering to properties or methods? I HATE OUTLOOK (sometimes...) Silesion is the spell-checked replacement for SQLSession... Hey Chris, We have just started using SQLSession recently and will soon be using Sessions from it site-wide. It was dirt easy to setup and start using. Can you offer any comparisons to it and CST inn terms of ease of installation, use, management, etc.? It would be nice to see the comparisons from an expert before we dive into SQLSession big time! I would hate to have to redo it all 6 months down the road. A user needs to possess a special permission to be able to do this. - Added conflict resolution to (RAM-based, internal) SessionStorage. - Made internal data container use "LowConflictConnection" class for its ZODB connections. This class operates differently than the standard Connection class because it doesn't raise "read" conflict errors. - Removed "AutoExpireMapping" class and merged its functionality into SessionDataContainer. - Removed "SessionFanout" module (unecessary because we're not trying to support pre-2.3.2 Zopes). - Refactored tests slightly. - Added SessioningPermissions and common modules.
