Creating database connection

When I try to create a Z SQL Method I get: There are no SQL database connections. You need to add a Zope SQL database connection before you can create a Zope SQL Method. Fair enough, but how do I create the connection, I have looked on the zope website, looked at the chapter on databases in the 'zope book' and looked on the net in general. I have hit a brick wall, can anybody help (I am using mysql on windowz). Wampum install problem

Per the instructions I have downloaded and run make on the cybercash c-api within the ZCCcrypt directory. LocalFS

Is there someone out there how has an working example of the call to "manage_upload" on an NT box. I get the localfs object to show the files on the server without problems. If I edit the localsf object, there is an upload function that also works like a dream but when I put an form in my DTML method and call the manage_upload function I get an Zope error. Hi all! I have a html file with links to style sheet and javascript external files. It works the same in Zope like in usual filesystem. You can upload all the files via ftp and it should work. But Zope provides some more powerful features to solve this problem. Interbase gvibDA Adapter - Threading and Interbase Roles

Hi, I was wondering whether you could tell me which way we should go when using the gvibDA database adapter. In your documentation it says: "gvib.threadsafety This attribute indicates what level of thread safety the code supports. It is set to 1 - Threads may share the module but not connections." In Zope does this mean that database requests are serialized or will the connection crash if two or more SQL methods attempt to use the connector simultaneously? Your documentation appears to suggest that using External Methods which open and close the database in a single pass enables us to bypass the thread safety problem, by riding on the back of the ZODB multi-threaded architecture. Is that true or would a heavy traffic site that is constantly opening and closing connections bring Interbase to it's knees? Finally, it doesn't appear that either gvibDA or ZODBC support Interbase roles.
