Has anyone out there run into problems reaching zwiki.org ? Can anyone help clarify the cause ? Many thanks - Simon

Rumor has it that PoPy compiles under Cygwin. If you can get PoPy compiled and then convince class Python(Ports.Win32,Zope) to talk to the PoPy shared library, you're home free. ODBC and MS SQL

I found out how to do it, and thought it might be useful to put in the archives, in case others need this info instead of a colon, use a space. localhost:8021 becomes localhost 8021 in fetch, and this works. Thanks to all who've helped. Carl David

sendmail Error 552 illegal address

Hi Unfortunately is my sendmail not working. I get allways the error (552, 'illegal address', 'webmaster(a)kisc.ch') The smtp-mailserver is working with JSMail - 3.56.1566. It's the server of my isp and works normaly 100% perfect. The From address is handeld by this server and I can normaly send emails to this machine. I get the same error, when I'm sending the email to the smtp-server were the To adress is handeld (runs with the same software). But when I'm sending this email over a temporarily installed smtp-server (runs with FTGate Pro2000) then it works. (you can find the email I get below) Does anyone know this problem? Are there special settings I can customize in Zope apart from the MailHost-Object? ZClass based on OFS:Image Error: unsliceable object

Hi I'm trying to make a extended Image ZClass. The basic idee is that I would like to have some more properties, like copyright, description ... Unfortunately when I try to add such a object I get always the following error: Error Type: Type Error Error Value: unsliceable object What is it what I'm doing wrong? I looked for hours through image products which are published on www.zope.org. I also studied How To's, tutorials, The Zope Book and Zope Developer Guide. But I couldn't find any info to help ... I got the same error when I tryed the How-To: ZClass Properties http://www.zope.org/Members/1staffor/zProperties . And this how to was very detailed and you can't do it wrong ... - so I really don't understand what it is what I'm doing wrong :( Is there someone around who can tell me what I'm doing wrong?
