hi, Is it possible to publish access DBs OR to SQL Query them from a Linux Zope setup? We don't have MS SQL server. Just Access, lots of WinNT boxes, and of coarse our trusty Linux servers. Thanks, j. ...................... ..... Jason C. Leach ..

Page template in Python-based product. How?

I'd like to use Page Templates in a Python-based product instead of DTML templates. How do I add a Page Template to the product? Can I use: Globals.HTMLFile("name", globals()) ? Or do I need to call some other method? Kind regards, René Pijlman

Your other option would be <dtml-var expr="Folder.Object()"> to show all that is printed or <dtml-call expr="Folder.Object()"> to show the returned data. no one using Interbase and Zope with gvibDA?

please don't think that i'm impolite, but i'm wondering quite a bit, why there is no response to my request (see below). Isn't there anyone out there using Interbase together with Zope (via gvibDA)? Export an object via a DTML Method

hello, I am trying to export a folder "exportFolder" using a DTML Method "exportMethod". I have the following structure in Zope: Root_Folder | | |-- folder_A | | | |- exportMethod | | |-- folder_B | | |-- exportFolder How can I export the folder "exportFolder" using some DTML Code within the DTML Method "exportMethod". Hello all, I sent this to the forem by mistake, and I got flack because of it, hopefully it reaches the right place this time. I have a question that may or may not be answerable. I have a site that is set up as so: There is a something.htm that calles other objects, like so: <dtml-var level1_header> <dtml-var level1_sidebar> <dtml-var l1_phoneit> <dtml-var l1_dialit> <dtml-var l1_findit> <dtml-var level1_footer> I was wondering if there was a way that I could extract the information from this ".htm" object so that I could determine which objects are being called from it, excluding the header, footer, and sidebar. Is this possable? Thanks

Bad request

Hi, I seem to be having a problem inserting big text data into postgresql using a z sql method. When the text is bigger than some size (I will try to find if there is a specific size) then the text is not inserted into the db, but instead it produces a Bad request error on the next fields that would otherwise would be inserted. In the error screen, I can't help but note that the URL passed to the sql method is HUGE... is there a way that this might be this problem? This is tested on both Konqueror and IE 5 & 5.5. Can I pass variables through some other way rather than the URL? Mind you the text is not western latin but greek, and in the URL it is replaced by %XX characters, which in reality triples the size of the URL. I would appreciate any help. enumerating fields

Q: How do you enumerate and display the field NAMES in a SQL result set? Suppose you have a ZSQLMethod, getSightings (from Lesson 11 in the Zope Tutorial). What I'd like to do is enumerating the fields in the results of this query to display the field names (without knowing them).
