Hi! I want to read the my Data.fs with the Python programm bbb.py it´s in /Utilities. I enter the command: #python bbb.py -e path/data.fs and then I get the announcement: "This Input File is a ZODB File Storage This Script only works with ZODB 2 (BoboPos) data or export files." Hmmmm, and now what shall I do? What is a ZODB 2 file? Is there any other programm where I can edit or read the data.fs like a textfile? Regards Steven

NameError: global name 'Project' is not defined

Hi, I have gotten this on two different machine. I created a Product name Project following the example in the Zope Book. When i make a folder in the root directory and then add this product, i get the following error when i type in an ID and click Add. I'm running Zope-2.4.3-win32-x86 on windows 2000. Last week, on a third machine, it worked fine, but today, on two different boxes, i get this error. Any thoughts? Thanks, mark Site Error An error was encountered while publishing this resource. Is there a way to know who did call index_html ? I have a product that has a view option. If this option is used I want to have the "next" index_html to call a method on the object from which the call originated. thanks for your tips Robert

Best way to have special objects in my products produc list?

I'm making a product that is going to have sub products that doesn't make sense anywhere else. These subproducts should therefore not appear in normal folders. There seems to be several ways to achievie this, what do YOU think are the best way, and why? I'm still using Zope 2.3.4, and I'm subclassing a ZCatalog, and therefore using the standard ObjectManager. Any input appreciated.

Need Zope promotion material

Hi there, We are going to exhibit Zope at the Internet Expo that takes place beginning of February in Zurich/Switzerland. To decorate the boot I need a high quality img file of the Zope logo (it will be printed 50x50 cm). I did ask for such a file on Zope.com. However my pledge was not answered yet. I anyone of you could point me towards such a file I would be grateful. Robert

I ran into the same problem a few weeks ago. Try this code, it isn't pretty, but it has worked reliably so far. Note, this code will back off on a day to keep the month. It's very strange that one machine with IE5.0 works and one doesn't. Anyone else heard of something like this? As for the sluggishness, IE just gets fatter every time they rev it. But, so does Netscape for that matter. You probably need more RAM. ZCatalog - STX_Documents not text indexed

Hey -- has anyone else noticed that the text of an STX_Document is not indexed in a PrincipiaSearchSource index??? Is there anyway to text index an STX_Document in a ZCatalog??? Or do I need a separate product??

Date addition in a Python script

I'm trying to add an arbitrary number of months to a DateTime value, and keep running into problems. My code looks like this: ----- ## Script (Python) "NewDate" ##bind container=container ##bind context=context ##bind namespace= ##bind script=script ##bind subpath=traverse_subpath ##parameters=Member, Effective_Date, Months_Added ##title= ## Old_Date = Member.PaidThrough Eff_Date = DateTime(Effective_Date) if Eff_Date > Old_Date: Old_Date = Eff_Date Month = Old_Date.month() Day = Old_Date.day() Year = Old_Date.year() NewDate = DateTime(Year,Month+int(Months_Added),Day) return NewDate ----- The problem arises when DateTime() tries to create a new date out of values like 2002,21,15 (reached by adding 15 months to 2002-06-15).
