Yes, we have a Site-Counter-Product but is it possible that the counter produces 1MB of data per minute. But what?? > Wild guess : some products write to the zope db, like some counter products (even worse if it writes on each access, as there is undo data added). Maybe you are using one of those? Hi, Our Zope Version is 2.4.3 and Python 2.1, but our Linux Filesystem can?t work with files >2GB, this is the Problem! And there must be a reason that the data.fs increase, though nobody works on Zope...! But what?? And if our Filesystem can work with files >2GB there is anywhere a limit where the system can work. In a Year the Data.fs will reach the 6GB limit? We need a solution for our Data.fs, that it will not reach the 2GB limit. That will get rid of the 2GB size limit for zope since that is a python limit and in some cases an os limit though not on most of the recent ones.

Hi, yes I have pack the Data.fs but the Size is still 1,75 GB and every 1 Minutes the Data.fs grows 1MB!! Hi, I´ve got a big problem with our Data.fs! The Size is >1,9GB and shortly our System will crash again.... :( Can I split the Data.fs in several pieces? Or can Zope work with only one Data.fs? I don´t understand that our Data.fs increases, though nobody works on Zope, because I have set the permissions that nobody can create or modifie a Document! Can somebody help me? Has someone written a script which renders a zope object to HTML? I would like to know: which base classes this object has, which methods it has, which properties it has ... I think it is quite easy if you know python good. I am a python newbie. __members__ doesn't seem to work on my zope object (inherited from folder). Can someone help? guettli

"Yellow Pages" product

Hi everybody, I plan to implement a Zope product (possibly using the CMF) which allows to publish so called "Yellow Pages". Three questions arise: 1) Is the name zyp already taken? zyp - short for Zope Yellow Pages - seems to be a nice name for the project. Does any other Zope project already use this name? Does it mean anything not-so-nice in English or any other language (in German "Zyp" doesn't mean anything)? 2) What Zope products exist which implement something similar? Until now I know only "Yihaw Folder" (http://www.zope.org/Members/EIONET/YihawDirectory) which is almost but not completely different from what I intend to do ;-) 3) Sourceforge I plan to use the sourceforge rescources for this project. Milos, I have not experienced this problem nor has a few of the others who tested the site. iMeme - who we use for hosting - uses Apache as the web server in front of Zope and ZEO for load balancing. What browser are you using (I have tested under Netscape 6.2 and IE 5.5)? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Thanks for the feedback. Print error_traceback from script (python)

Evening all, I have a script (python) that has various try/except clauses in it. I would like to be able to get hold of the traceback from within the except block so that I can (optionally) send it as an argument to a user-friendly page summarising how the last lot of transactions went. So, I tried... try: foo() except: tb = error_traceback() AND tb = context.error_traceback() AND tb = context.error_traceback AND tb = context.REQUEST['error_traceback'] all of which fail with any of keyerror, attributeError and possibly some others. Am I even in the right ball-park here? Can I do this? If I'm honest, I don't really know how to do it in straight python, let alone these limited scripts. Thanks if you can help, tim
