I am unable to open a bug in the collector. The site indicates that this should be possible with the anonymous account. Is this not the case?

python script get defined function by name

If I define a function inside a PythonScript, can I get that function by name somehow using getattr() or some other way? Zope on MacOSX?

I'm trying to build Zope 2.6.0b1 on MacOSX and am having some trouble. I have not seen anything dealing with euros...others may have some idea. Keep the discussions on the list - then others can benefit and also offer other suggestions and answers. In my case, the clent provides a description of the document he wants via a form, and a pdf document is served, but there is no explicit request--it's just the response from submitting the form. IE appears to get confused by this, the other browsers do not. The solution appears to be to use a bit of redirection/refresh magic. The form iaction does not compute and serve the pdf, rather it generates a page that refreshes and redirects itself to a page that computes and serves the pdf, effectively arranging for the clent to request a pdf rather than sending non-html material unannounced.

Hi, If I had a link in which if the onclick event happened I wanted to set a couple of session vars how would I go about doing it?? I couldnt really find anything that talks about that. Can it even be done?? [HELP] Newbie & Webdav

Hello, I use Zope 2.4.4 for my Intranet sites. The HTTP server works fine, the FTP server too. But, i didn't manage to run the WEBDAV server : in fact, i don't understand how to specify the "source - port" for Webdav. I have a script like that : ....... z2.py ..... -W %HTTP_PORT% -F %PORT_FTP% How can i specify the WebDav Port ? Thanks in advance. Frédéric. PS : Excuse my english.... ;-)

Role specific access rights for Python scripts

Hello, I try to set up a user role which is allowed to vie the output of some python scripts in a certain folder. I created a new role and started by checking every single checkbox for this role in the "Security" tab of the new script. But if I select the URL of the script I get: Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: Unauthorized Error Value: You are not allowed to access manage_test in this context Any hint, what might be wrong here? Kind regards Andreas.
