Hi, I have fair understanding of how zope objects are acquired by defining the index_html. Dear List, I have a dictionary in REQUEST. <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('my_dic',{'ar_id':'Article ID','ar_head':'Head','ar_body':'Body'})"> <dtml-var "my_dic.keys()"> Zope will sort for me. How to use the original order ? Thanks in advance Terry

I'm trying to reformat a date that I'm getting from our Sybase server. I get it in yyyy/mm/dd format and I'm trying to change it to mm/dd/yyyy format. I've created a DTML method called fixDate that looks like this: <dtml-call expr="REQUEST.set('date', _.str(date))"> <dtml-let newDate="date.split('/')" month="newDate[1]" day="newDate[2]" year="newDate[0]"> <dtml-var month>/<dtml-var day>/<dtml-var year> </dtml-let> It works if I call http://www.ourdomain.com/fixDate?date=2002/12/25, but if I try to use it from a DTML document I get: Error Type: NameError Error Value: global name 'REQUEST' is not defined If I take out the first line then I get: Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: split which is what prompted me to put it in to begin with. Any ideas? TIA Rick

Upgrading to Zope 2.5 database problems

Hi all, Has anyone had problems when upgrading to Zope 2.5? I did exactly what I normally do when upgrading the product, but when I copy the database across and try to run Zope it stops itself after approximately 10 seconds. I can import the portals to the database created by the install and that runs OK but then all the dates are incorrect. I am currently running Zope 2.4.3. Spec: CMF 1.2 Python 2.1.1 Many Thanks James

Redirecting URLs in Zope for renamed top-level folder

I plan to rename a top-level folder from A to B, but I'd like all users' old /A/path/to/stuff bookmarks to get redirected to /B/path/to/stuff. I've tried using Redirector, Rewriter, and JRedirector products, but I am unable to find the magic incantation to get any of them to do what I want! I mention the fact that it's a top-level folder in case that accounts for the unexpected behaviour I've seen. I'm using Zope 2.4.3 with Python 2.1.1. Has anyone succeeded in doing what I want? Zope suddenly down !

Hello, this morning Zope shows the following traceback. We changed nothing. Replaced current Data.fs with an old working one from last week. Same error. Zope is answering on ftp-port 8021, login works, but no directory listing possibile. Same with "lynx http://localhost:8080/manage/". Authentication is still required. I can login, then nothing.
