Hi, i need a DTML Document and don't know how to create it. I have a Image folder: pcms.image there are many subfolders inside example: pcms.image.logo pcms.image.diverses .... Now i need a DTML Document with the following functions: - Thumbnail Overview for all Images inside a specific folder - change the folder Is there some Document out there ? Sorry for my english ... i am from germany....

Problems with Object-IDs

Hi Community, I've got a problem with finding out IDs of objects. What I want to do is this: I want to search in a directory, if a special object-id is already used. The code is: <dtml-in "objectItems(['DTML Document'])"> <dtml-if "id=='mydocument.html' "> and so on But the id I get here, is not the id as it is shown in the management-view (for example 'mydocument.html'). Here, the id is something like 'Python Method object at 0x841d1c8' Can anyone tell me, how I can get the 'real' id 'mydocument.html'? Thank for your help in advance. Marc

Zope 2.5.0

And another thing ot two..... Zope/ZSyncer seems to not find the images that normally display next to the type of Object you want to Sync. (eg, blue circle for CMF object, etc) Any clues? And then there's this Syncable meta types.... since we want to Sync any imaginable content of a Project, I suppose I should just select the whole lot? cheers Graham

Zsyncer 0.4.1 and Zope 2.5.0

Any clues, anyone? Just updated Zope to 2.5.0, because we noticed a number of crashes in our QA system. Hi, Just to add my 2 euros to this thread. The methods I use are for normal http, I route thru Apache using virtual hosting and a rewrite rule: <VirtualHost *> ServerAdmin webmaster(a)domain.com ServerName www.domain.com ErrorLog logs/domain.com_error_log CustomLog logs/domain.com_access_log common # # note Zope.fcgi DOES NOT EXIST !!! # FastCgiIpcDir /tmp FastCgiExternalServer /usr/local/apache/htdocs/fcgi \ -socket zope.soc \ -pass-header Authorization DocumentRoot "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/fcgi" DirectoryIndex index_html SetHandler fastcgi-script RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/(.*) /usr/local/apache/htdocs/fcgi/Zope.fcgi/domain.com/$1 [L] </VirtualHost> For https, it is a little more complicated, as I employ a variety of web technologies for my secure site and don't wish to delegate everything to Zope. I presently use my port 443 Apache as a proxy server for a number of other servers (including other Apache servers) in addition to serving up dynamic html. Vanilla Zope would appear not to support https, so my proxy requests are all insecure once they have reached my port 443 server. This is a very private network and not a concern for me at least ... Hello, I get a message when I boot my Linux box about SearchIndex is deprecated. Okay, fine, but what do I do now? There's obviously some action to take, but I just don't know what it is... Thanks! Russell

What I want to do: I want to show the content of a folder in a structure. - group1 + document/folder abc + document/folder bcd + document/folder cde - group2 + document/folder aaa + document/folder bbb + document/folder ccc - group3 ... The titles of the documents and folder should be ordered. What I have done: Every document and every folder has got a property (in german: "Anzeigetyp") with a group id (in german: "Anzeigen", "Anlegen", etc). (And I've the suspicion Zope not only gets the titles from the objects but executes the objects in some way). So I ask me if there is the possibility to order the objects into groups according to the property and within the property according to the title. Vehicle registry solution?

I am going to be building a set of registries for a certain brand/marque automobile. (We've got a club, on-line registry is a project of mine.) Do you know of any zope-based solutions I could leverage for something like this? We'd want pictures and maybe ten or twenty database fields, as well as an associated mailing list. We're already running Mailman 2.0.8 on the site. Server is composed of netbsd, postgresql, python, apache. I've downloaded Zope 2.5.0 but I haven't built, installed or configured it yet. problem with sort_order (when seting up zwikitracker)

I try to setup a zwikitracker. I did follow the instruction at zwiki.org. when I accsess the zwiki tracker I get the following error: The page I set up does not use sort_order anywhere.
