I have modified the DocumentStore.py file. After making the necessary corrections, I have noticed that when I use the DocumentLibrary, the modifications still have not been corrected. what I´m doing wrong?. Perhaps somebody had implemented what I´m trying to do: to make DocumentLibrary able to upload multiple files ( not only one by one), in this case please send me an email back. mxm Product

Hi, I stubled into a strange problem, when I tried to start use the mxm-Product, which is created to help the creation of new Python-based products. I followed the example on http://www.zope.org/Members/maxm/HowTo/easyProduct/ and created mxmItem. It worked -- execpt that my own index_html or summary files are never used. Meaning the output of view is allways the standard output that mxm-product provides. Below is my the code I have. In www-directory I have the index_html.dtml and summary.dtml-files. Zope 2.4.3 and Python 2.1.1. Any help or ideas where could the problem be? strange ftp problem

Hi, I experience strange problems when fetching binary files out of the zope database. I downloaded it several, all versions differ, and are different from the original (downloading per http works fine, it gives the correct file). This happens with different types of binary files (I tested exe and zip, some of my users had problems with wav), but it seems to work fine with txt, html and images. It appeared at least with linux command line ftp, wsftp and IE5, so it is likely to be a server problem. Uploading can be with ftp or http, download per ftp produces damaged files. I use the debian version of Zope 2.4.2 (source release, python 2.1, linux2), python 2.1.1, linux2), installed products are - apart from the standard products - the HTMLDocument 0.9 and my own product (which does not fiddle anything with FTP at all). Hello Chris and others The sun is shining and a little experimenting brought me a little further. The problem seems to be in the data.fs, and probably not in the dns-lookup. I removed the 2.5.0 installation completely and installed 2.4.3 again. It worked fine in an new installation, the authentication popup showed immediately. Then i added the data.fs from the 2.4.1 production server (yes, i did remove the indices) Again, it worked fine, the authentication popup showed immediately. Then i removed 2.4.3 completely. With a fresh 2.5.0 installion and a fresh data.fs it worked fine. Conclusion: nothing wrong with dns Then i added the data.fs. from the 2.4.1 production server, and there the problem was again. A slow popup, 24 seconds to appear. New idea 1: updating via 2.4.3 add old 2.4.1 data.fs to 2.4.3 test server, pack it, and add the result to the 2.5.0 test server >From 2.4.1 to 2.4.3 the size went from 5.5 to 6.1 mb. When i packed it it was again 5.5 mb But when i added the 2.4.3 data.fs to the 2.5.0 installation the problem was there again. New idea 2: updating via export That is what i am going to do now, but this takes quite an effort. May be somebody has another idea?
