ZCatalog multiple repeat error ?

Hi! Correction : Core Session Tracking Usage Question

I call data.clear() at the bottom of any page where I use the session vars. data.clear() works but only when the page on which it is called is reloaded. If I follow a link to another page the session variables remain, whereas clear should have been called when zope reached it (<dtml-call "data.clear()">) during the publishing process. Any idea why that happens? Core Session Tracking Usage Question

Ho do I totally clear a session variable or an entire set f session variables when using Core Session Tracking. if data = session_data_mgr.getSessionData() Setting every variable to _.None by data.set('...',_.None) is too cumbersome and I just found that data.clear() does not work. So how do I do it ie clear one or a number of session variables?? TextIndexNG Queryparser bug?

When I do a search for 'andorf' (small town in Upperaustria) I always get a Queryparser error: Syntax error at 'and'. Should not there be a blank after 'and' (and some expression before 'and') for a search phrase? When I capitalize the a ('Andorf') queryparser does his job as intended. I have tried the strings 'Andorf andAndorf' and 'Wels andPichl' and that search works pretty fine (resulting in 'Andorf' and 'Pichl bei Wels'). Juergen

win32 - best DBMS with Zope?

Having read a bit, I concluded the open source DBMS to use with Zope was mySQL. Easier said than done under win32, I've discovered. Am I correct in thinking mySQL is the way to go? How about using an ODBC adapter to connect to mySQL? Possible? Advisable? Thank you.

I want it to be on alert always. Most likely Windows has swapped the Zope process (or dependant components) out of RAM. And frankly, tuning the cache system on windows is a )="#()("!)!= to do. I am assuming NT/2k here? If so, open the task manager and enable the Swap usage column, then keep your eyes on it. If it seems to increase swap usage after a while, but decreasing the RAM usage, then that probably is the case?

comparing two variables type="int"

Hi, I have two variables A & B whose types are "int". What is wrong with this comparision? (Assume A=5 and B=5) <dtml-if "A==B"> Then do something </dtml-if> I've have also tried. <dtml-if expr="A==B"> Then do something </dtml-if> None of these above work. This works fine when A & B are of types string instead of intergers. Thanks for any suggestions. -- Mike.

problem with Web Folders & Zope

Hi, I'm trying to connect to Zope via wevdav/web folders on a Windows 2000 system. I have WebDAV enabled on the server with "-W 8900". I've tried many combinations of connecting but always get "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another". WebDavLogger is installed and I see no errors. Each time I try to connect there's an HTTP 200 status at the end of the log file. Does this mean it's a problem on the client? (win2k) Has anyone fixed this before? thanks -Kevin
