What I'm really looking for is something where users have their own schedule, and others can view and schedule meeting in their free time. Rather like domino or exchange does, but with the warm and fuzzy open source feel. :) I suppose one could build on dtml-calendar to make something like this, but it seems like it would be a non-trivial project. Problem (100) Init Amb... why??

I am doing the following: om_class = OFS.ObjectManager.ObjectManager manage_main = Globals.HTMLFile ('dtml/dtml_doc_1', globals ()) manage_contents = om_class.manage_main and I get the following error: with -d set 2002-06-25T04:40:53 PROBLEM(100) Init Ambiguous name for method of Products.NBSUsers.NBSUsers.NBSUsers: "manage_main" != "manage_contents" ------ 2002-06-25T04:40:53 PROBLEM(100) Init Ambiguous name for method of Products.NBSUsers.NBSUsers.NBSUsers: "manage_main" != "manage_contents" Now a nice man once told me that it doesnt really make a difference and that its just a warning, and as far as I have seen he was absolutely right. However I would like to know why this error occurs?? Even in other products that raise such an error, the code causing the error is pretty much similar to the one above. So what exactly is the cause of this error ? What's wrong with the code-snippet above? Python.exe application errors

Hi We have an application built using Zope which is working great except that we get python.exe crashes (generates application errors and terminates). The errors seem to occur randomly and are therefore hard to replicate. The application has quite a few external scripts which interact with the Windows API. The verions in use are show below :- Zope Version (Zope 2.5.1 (binary release, python 2.1, win32-x86), python 2.1.3, win32) Python Version 2.1.3 (#35, Apr 8 2002, 17:47:50) [MSC 32 bit (Intel)] System Platform win32 the actual platform is Win 2000 Prof SP2 Does anyone have any ideas or pointers as to how to start tracking this problem down ?? I have got the drwatson log file but it does'nt make much sense !! Thanks

Danish characters in Zope on win2000

I cant get the correct danish characters in my Zope on win2000 ____________________________________ Zope Version (Zope 2.5.1 (binary release, python 2.1, win32-x86), python 2.1.3, win32) Python Version 2.1.3 (#35, Apr 8 2002, 17:47:50) [MSC 32 bit (Intel)] System Platform win32 ____________________________________ I start Zope with: "....z2.py" -D -L danish_denmark I can verify the locale from this external method: def getEnv(self): return locale.getlocale() Which gives me the following: ['Danish_Denmark', '1252'] ____________________________________ I have an index_html looking like: <html metal:define-macro="page"> ... <div metal:define-slot="page_content"> æøåÆØÅ </div> ... </html> See attachment: index1.jpg to see how the 6 characters in <div>æøåÆØÅ</div> 'look' in danish. in HTML:"æøå&Aelig;ØÅ" ____________________________________ When I test the page I get garbled characters See attachment: test.jpg to see how the 6 characters look when rendered. Did that a few minutes ago without sucess. working with sessions

Hi, Firstly: for a live site, ie one that's actually going to be used commercially, what is best: zsession or the default session environment shown at the end of the "using basic zope objects" chapter of the zope book? If the second is okay, then where can I find a howto or other docs that might show me how to set a value in a session using dtml? The reason is I don't want to have to do a python script each time I want to set a value... I don't know if this reasoning is justified... I've been trying <dtml-with SESSION mapping> <dtml-call set('banana',1)> (or SESSION.set, without the dtml-with) <dtml-var banana> But it gives a keyerror. All the examples I've found online and in the shopping cart example or in the zope book are python scripts. Is there a reason for this? Locked out of root ZMI

I have an zope instance where I try to log into the ZMI and it won't accept my password. The password has not been changed. I can log into other parts of the ZMI where there a folders with their own acl_users folder. It just fails when I try to login to the root ZMI. I'm running site root, OpenSSL, Apache 1.3.22 as a caching proxy, and a few local roles in the intranet folder (a CMF site). Mozilla returns an error "intranet.company.com recieved a message with incorrect Message Authentication Code" Not too long ago, I packed the database. Is it the caching proxy or some other cause?

Forbidden Error: Zope with PCGI under Apache2.0 and Win2000

Hello, I have a problem installing Zope with PCGI and Apache2.0 under Win2000 I copied the zope.cgi file in the apache/cgi-bin/ directory and added the following lines to http.conf: # Zope configuration maps /Zope/ to the Zope.cgi CGI script RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*) RewriteRule ^/Zope(.*) C:/Programme/ApacheGroup/Apache2/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/$1 \ [e=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,l] (The \ above means that the Rule should be all on one line) Apache starts without problems, but when I type in http://localhost/Zope is always get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /Zope on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. The Zope.cgi script seems to work as I get the Zope Welcome when I go to http://localhost/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi. Just the login will not work because the authentication headers are not forwarded. Photo does not regenerate displays

I have a site with lots of Photos that are grouped in a number of Photo Folders. I had one of the folder regenerating all display. Now next to the displays of all the photo "not generated" is displayed. When I try to access the pictures I do not get them anymore. And they are not generated neither. Zoë is V2.51 running unter Linux typing convert on the commandline starts convert so looks as if ImageMagick is working. what could be the problem?
