include html in structured text

Hi, I'm writing a HOWTO and posting it to zope.org. Um, but, how do I include markup (HTML, TAL, etc) as markup in my structured text? Wrapping it in a <code/> tag didn't work--but that was just a wild guess/hope. Thanks, // mark -

XML-RPC weirdness...

Im trying to fetch a string via XML-RPC from Zope (into Flash) and some characters are being encoded in a way that isnt understandable by my client library. I tried using python to do the same task, and then realized that the problem may be that Zope isnt setting the right encoding when spitting out XML responses. Attached is the log of my failed test. db2: accumulating connections

Hi, We've got a db2 database which we access with zope. It seems that the Zope-server is regularly opening new connections but never closing them. I've already looked into the database-adapter, but to me it looks ok. Maybe somebody can explain to me how Zope works in this respect or tell me where I can find documentation? When is Zope supposed to open a new connection? When will it close an open connection? What classes are involved? Thanks for any feedback, Stephan

How to get globals() from PythonScript in Zope? -- Error Value: global name 'globals' is not defined. localFS and 2.5.1 bug

I'm using LocalFS with Zope 2.5.1 on a debian box. Everything works great EXCEPT I can't you <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('anything', 'anything')">. Anytime I try and use REQUEST.set I get an AttributeError, ErrorValue: set. I found one mailing list post regarding this bug, but no answers. Anybody know what's wrong or how to fix? Thanks, Liz

XML and XSl rendering problem

Hi All, I have been selecting the plain text format but OUTLOOK EXPRESS sends the mail as HTML.Please bear with me. I have created an XML File and I am trying to include my header and footer files which are "hd" and "ft". I am not being able to get the tags as I have written it in the file. export of modified ZClass fails

I modified ZDiscussions significantly and it works fine. It's a ZClass with Python base classes. I want to export it to another Zope instance. So I simply exported it from the Control_Panel/Products menu in the ZMI. Export worked fine but when I import it in the new system, I get a diagnostic Failed to import class _ZClass_for_ZDTopic from module Products.ZDBase Products.ZDBase defines the ZDisscussions base classes. It was installed successfully in a separate, independent import. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and suggest what it is I need to do to get things to export properly.

(I know it's a stupid question because I found the answer about a year ago when I tried to install ZMySQLDA. But I spent 2 hours now and I can't find it again...)
