The python script works fine, but we just need a little more of a nudge in regards to the content of our dtml-method for the email! How do we pull in the 'title' and 'filename' properties from each submitted document object into the email? What do we put in the dtml method instead? It doesn't recognise <dtml-var name="title"> or <dtml-var name="filename">, so how do we pull these properties through into the 'send_update_email' method? It currently looks like this: <dtml-sendmail smtphost="our mailhost details"> To: <dtml-var name="email"> From: my email address Cc: my email address Subject: Your ICT document(s) are now 6 months old *This is a test email from the Library which is still in development. You do not need to do anything at this stage. Thank You.* Please look at the following document(s) in the Library: <dtml-var's for title and filename go here?> The above documents are 6 months old and need to be re-visited. Please check that the information is still relevant and up-to-date. If it is not, please update the document accordingly and submit the new version using the submit document form located at: http://submit_document URL Thank you </dtml-sendmail> I'm assuming that we would need to augment the python script somehow? Users cannot acces sites

Resume: we had a Dell PowerApp 120 running RH 7.0, Apache 1.3.x, Zope 2.5.0 binairy release upgraded to 2.5.1 we upgraded the machine to RH 7.3 with ext3, Apache 1.3.23 build python 2.1.3 from source rpm with '%define config_tkinter 0' build zope 2.5.1 from source (NOT rpm) exported CMF-sites from old Zope, imported them in new Zope to avoid 2GB Data.fs size limit (tested succesfully :-) added rewrite rules to apache: RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://127.0.0.1:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/%{HTTP_HOST}:80/$1 [L,P] started all. Now the following happens: logging into the ZMI as manager on port 8080 : OK logging into the ZMI as manager on port 80 : OK logging into CMF site as a user on port 8080 : OK logging into CMF site as a user on port 80 : redirection to login page What did we do wrong? - - Roel Van den Bergh

dtml-calendar in VirtualHost

I am having a problem using the dtml-calendar tag inside of an Apache Virtual Host. The links created by the NextMonth and PreviousMonth graphics use the actual machine name of the host instead of the virtual host name that is used by the links created for the individual days. The links created by the dtml-calendar tag for the next/previous months starts like this: http://dev.hostname.net/ -- this is incorrect, but is the DNS name of the machine. The links for each day in the calendar tag start with : http://swib.hostname.net -- this is correct, and is the name of the Virtualhost is Apache's httpd.conf file. I have looked at the source for CalendarTag (v 1.0.7) and noticed that all urls are being created by the same function, linkDate. Here is the source: def linkDate_(self, date, mode = 'day'): if mode not in self.modes: mode = 'day' v = self.vals_ s = '%(url_)s&date-%(name_)s=' % v return s + datestr(date) + ('&mode-%(name_)s=' % v) + mode Any ideas?

Dag Clemens, We did this step by step (every step did take at least one whole day) Every time we encountered problems and resolved them before going to the next stage. TextIndexNG fails

Hello zope users, Zope2.5.1 + RH7.2 + TextIndexNG1.05alpha1 When I restart zope ans look at Products - TextIndexNG is broken. When I click on it I get: Import Traceback Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/zope/lib/python/OFS/Application.py", line 531, in import_product product=__import__(pname, global_dict, global_dict, silly) File "/usr/local/zope/lib/python/Products/TextIndexNG/__init__.py", line 70, in ? Hello, I installed PIL and tried to use it in an external method. But I didn't succed in producing a simple image with any text in it. Does anybody have a working example? Irish Zopistas
