Separate folder with SQL Methods

Hello, This is my first posting on this list, so I don't know whether this question has been posted before. I am trying to access SQL Methods from a folder that is not a parent, but a sibling: /mywebsite /sql_quesries query1 query2 /html index_html welcome.html Is it possible to use the "query1" and "query2" methods from the DTML methods located in the "html" folder? Problems with anonymous access to MetaPublisher 1.2.8

Hi, I'm running Zope 2.5.1 on Linux, and I'm having trouble with the MetaPublisher 1.2.8 product. When I try to access meta publisher objects anonymously through the web, I get the following error message: Error Type: Unauthorised Error Value: You are not allowed to access entryIds in this context. I was following the product's tutorial when the error first occurred. What is the point in a publishing product that prevents the site visitors from seeing the published content? If this is a bug, then it's probably a fundamental flaw. So, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Elliot

Script writing to session: bizarre result or just a mistake?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone could tell me why this python script (passed no parameters) creates session values for N_prod, N_shed, N_screen, N_pond, N_land, N_soil that are all the same (and TS_*, K_*, P_* values that are similarly the same within their set). What am I doing wrong? Does python not have a way to predeclare functions, so I can keep 'main()' at the top and the utils at the bottom of a file? AFAIK, I have to go: ######################################## # Utility functions start here def util_func(): return 'a value' # Main starts here do_util() ######################################## but for readability I'd much rather go: ######################################## <some text to predeclare the function goes here> # Main starts here do_util() # Utility functions start here def util_func(): return 'a value' ######################################## Anyone know? I can live without it, but I like to have 'main' at the top so I can see what's supposed to be going on without scrolling to the bottom of a file first... a real "zope shell".

There's been various attempts at making "easy access to zope from a unix shell" over the years, here's another one. I recently noticed that zsh (www.zsh.org) a ksh/csh/bash replacement, has grown an inbuilt ftp client (yes, this is a bit nuts) - if you've got zsh installed, man zshzftpsys. As it is today, it doesn't support ftp servers on non-standard ports, but this was a 10-minute hack to add it in. File with History

hi I'm trying to add 'History' for a File object. What i have done is this : class File(Persistent, Implicit, PropertyManager, RoleManager, Item_w__name__, Cacheable, History.Historical): ------------------------- !!!! for File class in Image.py from lib/python/OFS After restraing Zope, the History tab was present and working. Is there a way to do the same thing without modifying the Image.py file ?? Something like a 'HotFix' product ?? 10x rares
