ZGDChart tips?

Hello, I'm trying to utilize ZGDChart to make some graphs of data from a PostgreSQL database. The website users go through 1 to 3 pages of forms to specific what data they want a report on and then the numbers are generated in the final action DTML method. I really want to have a graph on that page and so far have found ZGDChart as a tool. Unfortunately it looks to me like none of the data methods work for my situation: DTML-method : the method in the chart needs to receive variables to get the data, I can't find a way to pump them in Tiny Table: If I could insert data into a TinyTable with my final method action it would work, But that doesn't appear to be how TinyTable works ZSQL Query: need to pass variables into the query. It's not a vanilla lookup but a calculation too. Python Script: Can't say I know enough about python to try, but it looks like I'd run into the same variable problems. Any suggestions? Any other products out there for generating graphs in Zope? thanks, Scott

Urgh, I seem to have sent my first mail into the null-device :) here it is once more You just need a "Virtual Host Monster" in your Zopes root. catalog query

Hi, I'm trying to query my portal_catalog for documents having 'kw1 AND kw2' in the Dublin Core Subject field. It works well when I'm doing full-text queries, but it returns no document when I'm trying on Dublin Core fields. Is it the expected behaviour ? is it possible to change it ? It seems that portal_catalog has many parameters, is there one to change the default behaviour (match any keyword) to a match-all-keywords behaviour ? thx Sébastien Georget http://purl.org/NET/Georget/Sebastien

Thanks for you all guys, I went from 1.8 gig to 66 mb for the data.fs It worked, the packing also created a data.fs.old file. Data.fs file growing

Hello All, My data.fs is growing larger then I expected, currently it's at 1.8 gig. Is there a way I can shrink or clean it out. I think I now why my file is increasing this fast. I have a ftp batch script to upload documents to the site. The documents are always at my client server, meaning they are uploaded every time the batch script is run. Is there a fix to this? You have to modify the product slightly and remove the Reference to InterfaceBase. I have a modified version, that works. If you can't get arround, let me know and I'll sent you the modified one. A workaround is to use an ExternalMethod and the same logic that manage_rename delivers, but avoiding the reindexing part, in favor of a further catalog updating. rename lots of files

Hi all. We are trying to rename a lot of files in the same folder, but everytime we try this , there is no result. It takes ages before the page is reloaded and the only thing we see is a "server time-out", no error-page at all and nothing changes. We use unique names so entering twice the same name is not done.
