problem with dynamic dtml-with

Hi, I'm using the following dtml-with expression and it works perfekt. <dtml-with "aq_parent.aq_parent.edit.Terminhinweisverwaltung"> <dtml-var index_html> </dtml-with> As it can't be static anymore it tried the following. <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('wusch', 'aq_parent.aq_parent.edit.Terminhinweisverwaltung')"> <dtml-with "_[wusch]"> <dtml-var index_html> </dtml-with> But this raises an KeyError. Error Type: KeyError Error Value: aq_parent.aq_parent.edit.Terminhinweisverwaltung If the value of wusch is 'aq_parent' it works, but as soon as there is a dot in it another KeyError is raised. HTMLDocument workaround for Zope 2.6

My recent upgrade to Zope 2.6.1 broke HTMLDocument 0.9(.1). http://www.zope.org/Members/sf/HTMLDocument/ It referenced InterfaceBase, something that has apparently disappeared. Digging only slightly deeper, I noticed that it wasn't even being used. The easy fix is to just comment out line 27 in HTMLDocument.py (from IHTMLDocument import IHTMLDocument). --kyler

Redirection and Request Variables

Hi, I've got a page template that display a file using the id given in the request. I also got login/logout functionality on the site using exUserFolder, now I want that If the user looks at the file display he can click the login and after that gets back to the file display page. But this doesn't work, After clicking on the login Button I get a KeyError about the variable which holds the id - after a reload everything is fine. The variable is encoded within the URL using the QUERY_STRING. Is it somehow possible to get rid of this error? If you need more information feel free to ask. ZClass Inheritance, Permissions and exUserFolder

Hi, I stumbled across an interesting thing with ZClasses. I have a ZClass A which is the Base Class of ZClass B. It is not possible to add A to a folder, as there is no add-Method, but I created a Permission and factory A_add_permission. I thought that I could avoid creating 4 different Add-Permissions for every Subclass of A (there will be 4 alltogether), but it seems that this is not enough to create an Instance of B. Actually I've got a form and a script, in which the add_Product['myproduct'].B_add() script is called. When I execute this as a user that has no full manager-Role but a somewhat equally - so he has the permission to add an instance of A to the folder I tested this in, I get a HTTP-Auth Dialog to log into with a manager account I think. I cannot fully prove this, as my only manager account at the moment is 1 level above the acl_users folder in which the limited user account is (using an exUserFolder there). So the question is: Is it possible to have the add_permission only for the base class and be able to add instances of the subclasses with only this permission set? Hi, I don't know what I made wrong here but as it doesn't work, something must be wrong. I try to attach Files to a Folder. handle.manage_addDocument('standard_html_footer', 'Website Standard Footer', HTMLFile('DTML_Methods/standard_html_footer', globals())) -> works perfectly !! handle.manage_addFile('Style Sheet', HTMLFile('DTML_Methods/css/styles.css', globals()), 'Title of File') -> Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: seek handle.manage_addFile('Style Sheet', 'Title of File', HTMLFile('DTML_Methods/css/styles.css', globals())) -> works, but the Content of the File is 'Title of File', and within ZOPE the Title is the Content of the File !! How does this work correctly please?

Thank you. I have another question: How do I get checkbox and associated data from a selection box located next to the checkbox? The HTML form does not allow me to store a dictionary with keys. Finding the missing permissions...

Hi, Is there a Zope patch that shows the permission that's missing to an user to achieve an action, instead of displaying an Unauthorized exception stating that "you're not allowed to ... in that context" ? I'm a little bit stuck granting/denying permissions to new roles in Plone. Thanks in advance. --Gilles
