To answer your question, do you want to know the URI of the page the browser came from? That'd be REQUEST.HTTP_REFERER . Backup while zope's running

Hi all, Is there a way to perform a backup of Data.fs (and the zope instance for that matter?) while zope is running and users are logged on (reading and uploading files)? Is it possible to perform an incremental backup? I'm running zope-2.6.1 on Linux. Thanks. Fab.

Form based authentication

I want to use form based authentication on a new site. Is there an easy way to do this. I have been looking thru AccessControl and it seems that it may be a bit tricky. Should i just do my own acl and authentication?? Drew -

Problem with TextIndexNG

Hi, I'm currently using TextIndexNG-1.09 with my Zope site (2.6.1 release). I've created an Index with the following stteing : - attribute name: title - encoding: iso-8859-15 - stemmer: disabled - casefolding: enabled - index single characters: disabled - default query parser: PyQueryParser - stopwords: None - normalizer: french - compressed lists: disabled - use converters: disabled - similarity search: disabled When I enter a phrase query on this index (using double quotes) with some accentuated characters (like "département"), I raise an exception : UnicodeError: ASCII encoding error: ordinal not in range (128). TTWType Vs Formulator + ZPT

Hi all,,, I am using TTW (on plone) to generate a form. However, I am not able to control the layout. Can you please guide me as to how I can control the layout (display the form in a tablular format). Another way I have tried is using formulator with zpt. This allows me to control the layout (tablular format) thanks to the reply from this mailing list. However using this approach I cannot saves to the database (which ttw as content item does automatically) nor enter the basic workflow (ttw allows for review before publishing etc). Can you please help me as to How do i make a formulator + zpt form enter the workflow and save to the database? --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo! ZSyncer doesn't

Hi, I'm trying out ZSyncer 0.4.6 between a pair of relatively pristine Zope 2.6.1: I'm getting this error on one: There was a problem with that comparison: Error: - Error - Syntax error at line 1: illegal data at start of file On the other I get this error: There was a problem with that comparison: Error: - ExpatError - syntax error: line 1, column 0 Looks like something with do with Expat, or some Python XML thingy? What are the canonical versions of these packages for ZSyncer? (My machines are FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE, separately "make world"-upgraded from older 4.x versions over the years. There are likely to be package version differences here and there. I don't run portupgrade because I've been able to get away with it so far. ;-) Thanks.
