Putting a default value in an <input type="file"...>

Hi, I got a PageTemplate form with a control scripts. In case of control failure, the form is published again with an error message and the previous values of the fields. This is easy for usual widgets (textfields, radio, checkboxes...) but I'm stuck with <input type="file" value=...> controls, for which I can't give back the previous value (file path in the client file system). Any hint ? I know this is not strictly a Zope problem but I guess some of you already faced that problem. Thanks in advance. --Gilles

resizing ZMI textarea window

With 2.6.1 and Opera 6.02 the window resize is broken. I filed a bug report on the collector, but a quick fix would be nice. The quick load time of opera makes it a nicer development environment that Mozilla.

Authentication Error on python script db submit

Hi, I am trying to connect to a db and UPDATE or INSERT, if the update fails, some data. The script saves without a error but once the script it run the Zope Authentication window pops up. After 3 login attempts, i know the password :-P, it produces the stupid error "Error Type: Unauthorized Error Value: You are not allowed to access connect in this context " The Proxy roles are set to authenticated on the script(i have tried manager and owner and all 3 at same time). Renaming Folders

Hi folks, here's my problem: The former admin of my Zope site causally named folders like "Doc/DocProduct/DocProductBlah". As you can see, there are too much redundant information in the folder structure, and I've been wanting to change it to "Doc/Product/Blah" for a long time. But the problem is that there're many documents referring to that old folder structure, scattering all over the site. I wonder if it's possible to change the folder names and references automatically, hope i'm not day-dreaming, finding and fixing all those links is going to a nightmare... Some Problems with XUF

Hi, I've got a problem with the XUF, using ZODB Auth. The Problem is, when I access the folder/manage URL I don't get the LoginForm, but the standard_html_footer of /. The URL I see in the browser is folder/acl_users/redirectToLogin?destination=... The weird thing is, that I don't have a <dtml-var standard_html_footer> anywhere in the loginforms. Hi all, I have a question to you. If I open my Plone-websites with the IE, I always get an error message regarding a javascript line. If I open the debugger, it opens a file called "plone_javascript.js". Now I wanted to edit this file, but I cannot find it anywhere. Does anybody know where to find it or is this an unknown problem? Thanks in advance for your help... Carsten

File Extensions in FileSystemSite Product or FileSystemDirectory View

Hi, does anybody know why and where the possible file extensions in the FileSystemSite Product or in FileSysemDirectory View (CMF) are restricted to [html, htm, dtml, py, gif, jpg, png] and why the fileids omit them in the ZMI at least on Win? I would like to extend this to zpt as it can render Pagetemplates nicely and show the extensions. Thanks for your answers, --Elena

import error

I have exported a section of my site using the zmi export function. When I try to import this site into a fresh installation of zope I get the following error: Error Type:Bad Request Error Value:The id "Catalog" is invalid--it is already in use. I have double and triple checked and there is not an id "Catalog" anywhere to be found. I then tried importing it in a new folder back onto the machine from which it was exported and get the same message. What is does this message mean? Thanks, -- Michael Long <mlong(a)datalong.com>
