Formulator - TALES - Z SQL Method

I am new to Formulator and I would like to create a pulldown list that is built from data in my relational database. I have a working ZSQLMethod that returns results in 2 columns called "ListCompanyStaff". I created a Formulator form that has a multilist widget call "company_contact_id" and I would like to overide the value list using the ZSQLMethod. The example in the help file shows a Python example and I played with that and it worked. Does anyone have an example of the exact "TALES" syntax that I should put in the "items" property of on the TALES tab? Thanks, David ======================================= David T. DateTime() and ZopeTime() Thanks

Thanks All. Yes, I tried DateTime() and ZopeTime() separately in a dtml method like: <dtml-var expr=_.DateTime()> <dtml-var expr=ZopeTime()> It returns same value. But when I use the Zopetime() in my database ZSQL method, like <dtml-sqlvar expr=ZopeTime() type="string">, it will give error messages:"Attribute Error: ZopeTime Attribute" But when I change to: <dtml-sqlvar expr=_.DateTime() type="string">, It works well. Problem with zsession_del_notify python script, event log transienceDestruct failed msg

Hi, Zope Version Zope 2.5.1 Python Version 2.1.3 System Platform freebsd4 CMF Version 1.3 I have a python script that is setup in ZSESSION_DEL_NOTIFY to save some info out of the session objects from visitors to a cmf site. I have seen the "PROBLEM" event listed in the event log (shown below) on a regular basis. Line 8 of the SessionCleanUp script does the following... sess_cnt = sdo.get('sess_cnt', {}) sdo being the session object passed to the script via the parameter list. This means the data I want isn't saved, correct? From LowConflictConnection.py how would the session object being passed be None (or the objects attr _storage?)? And how do I track it to find the problem? Thanks for any pointers. How to sort the results of portal_catalog.searchResults()???

Hi All, I would like to sort the results of portal_catalog.searchResults() based on the last_modified_date.... But it seems that, portal_catalog...is producing the results randomly.....everytime the order of the items in result list differs......... Has anybody solved this problem...??? or anyother way to overcome this problem..... Hi Ed, I've used authorize.net with several sites with no problems. I used httplib (with SSL support) in an external method. It's not hard to integrate with at all. I think there is how-to on zope.org that is essentially the same as what I did. It probably would make sense to use a socket timeout if you have heavy traffic, just to make sure you catch any lost transactions. Bob Corriher P-Wave Inc.

Apache 2 : stuck fixing content-length HTTP header

Hi, This is not - strictly speaking - a Zope problem, but perhaps it's a fixed issue for some of you. When using the standard RewriteRule scheme with a VirtualHost monster, Apache 2 removes the "content-length" HTTP header from the response provided by Zope. This does not matter for most web pages, but this disturbs viewing a PDF file with IE (for a reason I don't know). Mozilla (and perhaps other browsers) don't care about this and show the PDF file through the plugin. But most people use IE and I didn't find anything in the Apache 2 doc to fix this. Any hint is welcome, including RTFMs :o) Many thanks in advance. --Gilles

The difference is that ZopeTime() gives you the time on the server, while DateTime() gives you the time of the client machine. So, if your server is in the USA and you are, let's say in Japan, ZopeTime() will give you the time in the USA while DateTime() will give you the time in Japan.
