Why don't you file a bug report? Here is the code I used for testing. It opens another browser window and lists all the methods and properties of the history object - <html> <head> <title>History Test</title> <script type='text/javascript'> function test() { var obj = history var str = '' for (var o in obj) { str += o + '<br>' } var win = window.open('','_show') win.document.write(str) win.document.close() win.focus() } </script> </head> <body> <button onclick='test()'>Back</button> </body> </html> Results in the popup window - that is, when it worked at all - length current previous next back forward item go You can see it has all the right properties and methods. Indexing and Searching through XML files

Hi, I got lots of XML-files(about 100.000) in a directory tree on my file system. I want to publish those files using Zope/Plone. I need to be able to index them in their native format without having to upload them in the ZODB, let users search their contents through zope, and have the result displayed. Is it possible? Did anybody ever do this? Any suggestions? I'm running zope-2.6.2 and Plone-1.1. Thanks, Fab.

The HTTP_REFERER basically reloads the previous page and does not take me back to the point on the page that I was on. So it is close but not exactly what I want. In Firebird there is something called a JavaScript Console. This is telling me that history has no properties. Mike, I know from experience that not all Open Source browsers support the DOM fully. How can I save variables in a session
