I have something I'm selling on Ebay, and after 8 years of german (some time ago), I will always stink at it. If one of my German Zope buddies could email me off the list, I'd appreciate it. This list is my only venue to get across the Atlantic. Thanks in advance.

I'll bet all the docs are in files there, possibly even the famous README. Just to be clear: Zope really needs to deal with users in UserFolder ways. I suppose you could hack something onto the side, and do all your own authentication, authorization, management, etc. But why? But a UserFolder needn't be ZODB-backed, and it certainly neen't be the one shipped with Zope. A user folder can be backed any way someone might care to program, so with something like XUF or SimpleUserFolder, or even a (probably fictional) PostgresUserFolder you can have Zope use and manage your existing store of users, which you can still use and manage however else you were used to doing it previously. --jcc

Hi all, When using the following statements I receive the message "Error Type: NameError Error Value: global name 'get_size' is not defined". <dtml-in "admin.fileIds()"> <dtml-var sequence-item> <dtml-var "bobobase_modification_time()"> <dtml-var "get_size()"> </dtml-in> What did I do wrong ? Hi list, Sorry about the messyness of my previous post, I'd forgotten to shift the email type to plain text. paypal IPN

I've been doing some searching for python tools to use paypal's IPN service. I found this page: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/pdn/article_pdn_intro-outside Which kinda helps, at least it's the right language... But it's written as a cgi script, so I'm a bit confused on the "args" Is anyone using an external method or product for this? How to hide Zope search results?

I would like to hide some Zope search results, how do I do that? I have a (plone) folder which is only accessible to the group "members", but whenever I do a search for a text string contained in a document in that folder, that document is also returned when I query for it as an anonymous (non-authenticated) user and I'd rather not have it returned at all. In fact, I only want the search results concerning the folder only accessible to group "members", whenever someone from group "members" is quering for it. Escape characters

Hello, In a DTML method, I am issuing the following call: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.redirect(someURL)"> someURL contains characters that should not be escaped ('@', ':'), but the default behavior kicks in and I end up with '%3' instead of ':'.
