TAL / Z SQL Method
by Arjan Huijzer 03 Feb '03

03 Feb '03

Hello, I am having a problem with calling multiple Z SQL Methods from within Page Templates. What I need to accomplish is calling a Z SQL Method using a parameter value from another Z SQL Method. My code looks like: <p tal:repeat="cd container/z_sql_methods/select_cd"> <span tal:replace="cd/cd_title">CD Title</span> <ul tal:repeat="song container/z_sql_methods/select_songs"> <li content="song/song_title">Song Tile</li> </ul> </p> As you can see I have two Z SQL Methods, namely "select_cd" and "select_songs". For every CD that is in the database, the songs need to be retrieved. This is done by using the second Z SQL Method that takes one parameter, "cd_id". How can i pass this parameter "cd_id" in the TAL statement? I have looked through the available docs, but couldn't find the solution. Can someone please help me or point to a relevent piece of documentation? Thanks in advance!! Arjan Huijzer __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! by Sven Jacobs 03 Feb '03

I have two questions: 1) Is it possible to restrict the Zope Server to special domains, rejecting requests from all other domains? 2) Where do I change the page loaded after logging of from the Zope management environment? Running Python Scripts via the Management Interface
by Asad Habib 03 Feb '03

03 Feb '03

Hello. Does anyone know why the following script stalls when I run it in Zope's Management Interface using the 'Test' command? context.manage_addProperty(propertyId, propertyValue, propertyType) All it does is add a property to a folder. The script does function properly and doesn't stall when I access it from a DTML method. However, it stalls when I run it directly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -Asad __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.yahoo.com

RE: [Zope] RESPONSE.setStatus(), what does that do?

Without looking at the docs, I'd assume this sets the HTTP response code - ie '200' for a successful request, etc etc. Cheers P -----Original Message----- From: mail(a)peterbe.com [mailto:mail@peterbe.com] Sent: Monday, 3 February 2003 12:08 PM To: zope(a)zope.org Subject: [Zope] RESPONSE.setStatus(), what does that do? Restricting products in add list
by Sean K 03 Feb '03

03 Feb '03

Hi all, Is there a way to display in the add list only the products you want added to a product that subclasses Folder. I have subclassed folder and added methods that add other products that are components of the overal product. This is to make distribution of the prodcut easier and editing contents more visual. I would like the add list restriced when inside the sublassed folder, and would like the sub products removed from the list when outside. If this is wishful thinking, that's fine, it would just make use of the product more intuitive. Thanks Sean Kemplay __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! ZPT - conditional metal:define-slot
by Max M 02 Feb '03

02 Feb '03

I have a template (Only relevant parts here) <td width="20%" bgcolor="#CCCCCC"> <div metal:define-slot="leftColumn">leftColumn</div> </td> <td width="60%" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <div metal:define-slot="primary">primary content</div> </td> <td width="20%" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <div metal:define-slot="secondary">secondary content</div> </td> Wich I call like: <div metal:fill-slot="leftColumn"> Lef content </div> <div metal:fill-slot="primary"> primary content </div> <div metal:fill-slot="secondary"> secondary content </div> But I would really like the "secondary" column/td to be optional. So that if I don't have any content for it, it will no be there. Does anybody have a clue as for the best way to do something like this? regards Max M
