Maybe something like <dtml-if "check_box and check_box == ('on')">, not sure though. Chris: Zope doesn't run on mod_python. Why would you want it to? Stephan: Why not? There is mod_perl which is very good. I would be interested in the dis-/advantages of using it. Help system products?

We are building a web application in Zope and the question has arisen about how we build the help system. Stuff we need: - Page help - User's Manual - FAQ My initial reaction (partially motivated by hideous deadline pressure) is to just slap a Wiki in the help folder and muck with the presentation details later, especially since the Wiki source files are so darn simple. Is this a reasonable plan? Anyone have a better solution? session and iterating session_data

I'm pretty sure the confusion comes from my AdvancedSiteSetup tutorial here: http://www.zope.org/Members/dshaw/AdvancedSiteSetup I usually leave the Zope ftp server off for production systems, because I never use it, and it could be a possible security hole to leave an unmonitored service running. That's why in my sample configuration zope.conf it is set up like this: ZOPE_OPTS = '-p - -f -' That command DISABLES the internal ftp server. You enable it in zope.conf like this: ZOPE_OPTS = '-p - -f 8021' Where 8021is the port you want to use. Perhaps I'm late to this conversation, so I might be misunderstanding the context, but I have another ZTP script tag problem... In the HTML 3.2/4.0 specs, stuff in script tags is implicitly CDATA in HTML (though not in XHTML). ZPT does not respect this, so JavaScript with '<' or '>' inside JS string literals causes problems with parsing the PT. IMHO, this is a bug unless the PT in question is set explicitly to XML? Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone mind if I file this in the collector? Eaxmple would likely fail ZPT parsing: <script> document.write('<a href="' + somevar + '">" + someothervar + '</a>'); </script> Thoughts?
