WebServices

I just started poking around with it, but has anyone done anything with WebServices, WSDL, etc. and Zope and Python? More and more is showing up daily for web services and it would be nice to easily connect to them via Zope and/or Python scripts. Thanks -Allen

Thanks, I solved the problem > Which docs are you refering to? Audiences.stx, CMFDocumentation.stx, Configuration.stx, Tour.stx and others in the same folder. > What tour example is this? It is not an example: Tour.stx >> I'am using WIN XP, > How unfortunate for you ;-) I know that, but it is just for testing and maybe developing. Thanks Cristian

Hi, Sorry, the db is broken up into the following fields are all text at a size of 255: released doc_type part_number title_despcription date_of_origin file_hyperlink The field in question is part_number. This record can be found AOP-18-01 but this record 01-0102-0000, for example, cannot. Part_number is the primary key. Again, I can see all info within Access but if I try to query from ZSQL method I'll see the first but not the second record. -----Original Message----- From: nitin(a)borwankar.com [mailto:nitin@borwankar.com] Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 4:37 PM To: McDonnell, Larry Subject: Re: [Zope] (no subject) You'll have to be a little more detailed about what exactly your "Part Numbering System" is before anyone can help. zope and session
by Bakhtiar A Hamid 15 Jul '02

i'd like to do some brain picking with regards to zope and session currently, i'm enabling session on all pages by using script python [1]. it works ok, but is that the right way of doing it? and i sometimes get keyerror[2] also, when enabling sessions, can i get to the data stored in transient object so that i can, say, see how many people are currently in session, etc, etc. what i'm doing now is storing some of this stuff in postgresql, which is wrong, i think. thanks for all input --[1]script python--- session = context.REQUEST.SESSION browsermgr = session.getBrowserIdManager() r=context.REQUEST if session.getBrowserIdManager().isBrowserIdNew(): session.set(browsermgr.getBrowserIdName(),browsermgr.getBrowserId()) r.set(browsermgr.getBrowserIdName(),browsermgr.getBrowserId()) context.q_add_user_session(context, r)#update postgresql to get who's in session else: if _.SecurityGetUser().getUserName() != 'Anonymous User': r.set(browsermgr.getBrowserIdName(),browsermgr.getBrowserId()) context.q_update_user_session(context, r)#update postgresql to get who's in session --keyerror [2] (Object: session_data) KeyError: duplicate key 08694963A0YdxjlmPiI -- -- http://www.kedai.com.my/ http://www.kedai.com.my/eZine http://www.zope.org/Members/kedai http://www.my-zope.org How can I laugh tomorrow, if i can't even smile today.
