And it's not optimal - see http://sites.inka.de/sites/bigred/devel/tcp-tcp.html I admit that using a Unix system would be not easy for the avarage Windows user too :) But the effort put into finding solutions for Windows could be put into learning Unix. You are using relative links in your pages. You may fix them with the absolute_url() method of the referenced objects. authenticated MailHost?

Is there a MailHost that can authenticate (username/password)? I just switched to an smtpd that requires authentication (courier)

I notice that when my "standard_error_message" is displayed, it seems to lose all AUTHENICATED_USER info too. But I am using _.SecurityGetUser().getUserName() and it is coming back ANONYMOUS when the error page is displayed, but works fine on all other pages. I am also using CookieUserFolder, not sure if that makes a difference. I verymuch doubt this is the case, although using AUTHENTICATED_USER to access this has been deprecated for some time now. Newbie URL problem

Hi ! I´m a Zope newbie user, I´m learning Zope just two months ago in my spare time. For a test I made a simple Web site, everything is Ok, except a thing, my URL´s, let me explain I have a page with 2 columns: TOC and content, when I clic on an item on the TOC, the page is showed and the URL its right, but when again click on the same item the URL looks bad, but the page is correctly showed. 1 click -> http://www/cgi-bin/Zope/mysite/event/past.html 2 click -> http://www/cgi-bin/Zope/mysite/event/event/past.html 3 click -> http://www/cgi-bin/Zope/mysite/event/event/past.html and so.... (Fwd) rename problem

Hi All, I need to move something from one folder to a subfolder via Zope's FTP interface. This doesn't seem to work: rnfr x.gif [that command completes fine] rnto ./previous/x.gif [that yields a 550 error -- also if I use a complete path from the root] Is this something peculiar to Zope's FTP interface? Looking briefly at the code for the FTP server, it looks a little peculiar -- seems to "translate" the FTP request into an HTTP request and submit that to call manage_renameObject? If anyone can help me out with this, I'd be very grateful. Zope starts with a PCGI error

Hi, I recently downloaded Zope 2.5.0, and have gone through the installation process. I have attempted to start Zope, by running the ./start file. Nothing else ever happens. I have no messages from my firewall, and nothing in /var/log/messages. So basically, I'm stuck and have no idea where to go from here.
