Importing a third party module into Python Scripts
by florian reiser 15 Feb '02

15 Feb '02

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello guys, I want to import a third party module into a python script. But I get always an Import Error. The modules works fine when used without zope or inside a zope product. I've tried it with the method described in Products/PythonScript/module_access.py already, but I didn't have success. How can I use a third party module in a python script inside zope? dtml-in totals
by D. Rick Anderson 15 Feb '02

15 Feb '02

I need to total variable from a dtml-in and give the result at the bottom. I can't seem to figure out what needs to be done to get this result. If I have the following: <dtml-in sql_statement> <table> <tr> <td> <dtml-var dollar_amount> </td> </tr> </table> </dtml-in> How do I total all the iterations of dollar_amount? Is there a way in dtml to put a variable in that stores a running total? TIA Rick

Need to backup
by dnielca＠netscape.net 15 Feb '02

15 Feb '02

Hi there! I need to make a backup of some files in the Linux filesystem that I got the Zope Running. After get those files together in a tar file, I want to let that file avelable for download in a site in Zope. How would I make a path, through Zope, to reach this file in the filesystem? Note that I don't want to import that file to ZODB. (That would make my Data.fs huge, and one of the files in the backup is Data.fs) Thank's, Daniel -- __________________________________________________________________ Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas. Role for hasattr()
by Bryan C. Andregg 15 Feb '02

15 Feb '02

I have a script that calls hasattr(); the script is proxied as "Author" a role that I've created which has the basic add and change files but not much else. What security setting controls whether or not hasattr is going to work? Cheers, -- Bryan C. Xron method's tabs
by Pablo Ziliani 15 Feb '02

15 Feb '02

Hi everybody, I've just installed the Xron product and created a Xron Method, first scheduled some hours ahead, and to be rescheduled after a day. When I tried the tabs in order to test it, it worked through the "view" tab, but failed (or did not get executed) when I used the "trigger" tab. Any help on what the "view" and the "trigger" tabs do will be greatfuly apreciated. (coudln´t find any doc beside the (same) add and edit help topics). Thanks in advance, Pablo.
