DTML and ZPT editing in XEmacs
by Shane Hathaway 27 Sep '01

After much tinkering (since I'm no LISP guru), I finally figured out how to get XEmacs to automatically go to html-mode whenever you open a .dtml or .zpt file. Maybe this will be useful for others. In your .emacs file (normally in your home directory), just add the following two lines to the end: (add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.zpt$" . html-mode)) (add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.dtml$" . html-mode)) Shane

Encrypted EMail with ZSMime
by Bob Corriher 27 Sep '01

27 Sep '01

We have implemented encrypted email using M2Crypto and ZSMime (thanks Ng!) in the past using Netscape Messenger with no problem. However this time, we need to implement it using Outlook as an email client. We can successfully import the certificate (created with OpenSSL) into Outlook, but it dooes not appear as an option when we try to set up an individual account for encryption. Any clues would be appreciated. Bob Corriher P-Wave Inc.

by Frederic Quin 27 Sep '01

27 Sep '01

Hi all, I spent a few minutes trying to save changes on a DTML Method. Each time, it failed because of a syntax problem... Finaly, I renamed a private REQUEST key that I called pass into password and it works... REQUEST.pass seems to be a reserved key. Is it ??? Regards, Frederic Quin
