Goodday, I tried to install ZODBCDA into my zope followed these instructions from the product. Installation · Extract the distribution file into the top-level directory of your Zope installation. · Restart your Zope installation. After restarting the zope i still can't find the adapter in the list of objects in my zope mgt screen. kindly tell me what i still need to do if at all i was missing something out. Thanks. kamal.

Strange pass REQUEST reserved key...

Hi all, I spent a few minutes trying to save changes on a DTML Method. Each time, it failed because of a syntax problem... Finaly, I renamed a private REQUEST key that I called pass into password and it works... REQUEST.pass seems to be a reserved key. Is it ??? Regards, Frederic Quin

Requesting AUTHENTICATED_USER from within Python script?

Blame me if this is already answered: how to check if current role is Manager and how is the name of the authenticated user from within a Script (Python)... i.e. how to do AUTHENTICATED.has_role('Manager') and AUTHENTICATED_USER.getUserName() without passing AUTHENTICATED as argument. Ok, can the people who are having this problem report what version of Zope they're using? I see a fix that seems to make it Work For Me that's in rev 1.49 of App/Management.py - this is newer than 2.4.1, so it's probably only people who are tracking CVS HEAD or Zope-2_4-branch that are seeing the fix right now. I assume this will be in 2.4.2 - the fix is applied to the 2.4 branch. Anthony
