newbie question about adding a product instance

I was working through the Zope Book and trying to add a new product. I want to create an addForm so that all the properties are set from the get-go. I modifed that addForm that was generated for me, then I went searching through the add method that was generated. There's a comment in there that says you can use this <dtml-call "propertysheets.Basic.manage_editProperties( REQUEST)"> to set other attributes from the form, but it's always returning an attribute error for "basic." I've tried changing "Basic" to a couple of other things (like the name of my property sheet), but I can't seem to get past this. So, does anybody have an idea what I'm missing? Should I just ignore that comment in the generated DTML and replace the generated method with my own Python script? (Assuming I can figure out how to get access to the container, form, and underlying object from the python script....) TreeTag Troubles

Greetings, I am working with the dtml-tree tag to display a list of folders with in a large directory. In the dtml method that the tree is displayed I display the documents and downloadable files below the tree for the selected folder. I need to be able to keep the full folder tree as it is on the base url on the subsequent child folder views for example the tree that is displayed on http://www.mysite.com/userdir/contents_listing_html needs to be the same on: http://www.mysite.com/userdir/Zope/contents_listing_html just with the current node expanded and maybe current folder name in bold print. The problem is I only want to display documents that are within the selected folder in a list below the tree, like Folders: <dtml-tree> Tree code for folders </dtml-tree> Documents: <UL> Code to get documents </UL> Does anyone know how to do this? I have already spent alot of time messing with it with alot of errors, so any help is appreciated. HomeSite 4.5.2 == ColdFusion Studio 4.5.2 They are the same product but the Studio has all the Tags built-in for CFML. I installed the Studio once and then wondered why as the two looked exactly the same. How did you get the DTML tag completion? Have not tried that yet but would be nice. Maybe we could trade custom toolbars? DTML meth makes Zope 2.4.0 core dump...

(BTW I forget in my previous post to precise I use 2.4.0 on FreeBSD). Here is a DTML Method : <dtml-in RESULTS> <dtml-let RESULT=sequence-item> <tr><dtml-var "CONVERTER('','')"> <dtml-in FIELDS> <td><dtml-var "CONVERTER('', '')"></td> </dtml-in> </tr> </dtml-let> </dtml-in> This method is called from a Python Script, and CONVERTER is a reference to another Python Script. The first <dtml-var "CONVERTER('','')"> works perfectly (the script is called and returns correctly), but the SECOND ONE makes Zope core dump. Urglhh... Thanks, I'll take a look... I could always just give it a try and write some python code to dump garbage to a BIG file, and write some code using file seeks to move to large byte offsets... I'd definitely try it before I tried using it in Zope/ZEO... Folder Navigation Not Working

I tried to follow the navigation example from the Zope Book that's online. I made a tree that looks like the following: root projects jobengine requirements specifications outbound When I'm in the projects folder, I see the folder below it (and the links work). When I go up to one of those folders, though, I don't see any of the subfolders at that level. Here is what I have in the footer (taken from the example verbatim): Projects:&nbsp <dtml-in expr="objectValues('Folder')"> *<a href="&dtml-absolute_url;"><dtml-var title_or_id></a> </dtml-in> At the second level I don't even get the asterisks so it's not finding anything. Each of the folders at the next level (requirments, specifications...) has an index_html DTML method in it. I thought it might be something with access control but there are no user folders in any of the sub sub folders. I'm discouraged that something taken right from the book doesn't work! I sort of worry on USparc because the user-space is 32 bit, but kernel space is 64, which makes me worry that files too big would break fsck or something... Would python be able to support LFS in this sort of arrangement...
