RESPONSE.setHeader

Hi, Does anyone know how to setHeader of the RESPONSE to a document in Zope which would ordinarily be read as an html file will now be downloaded? I list some files in a page and then I want to be able to download these documents, but of course the browser will load and render them. I have tried: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('Content-Disposition','Attachment; Filename=' + document)"> where document is the &dtml-absolute_url; of the object I want. But it will give me a popup window to save the HTML file of the page that lists the files I want available for download. <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('refresh', '4;URL=' + document)"> Will of course get me the correct page as well, but again, the browser will render it since it is in fact of DTML Document type... But how do you force a download? Thanks again, Paz

Greetings, I am generating a report based on a SQL query, say query1. Using dtml-in it iterates over each returned row. Within each row, I would like to create a table based on a second query, say query2. Everything works great until I insert query2 in a second dtml-in statement. I can't figure out how to pass query2 arguments, which are dtml-vars from the current loop of query1. I get the error: Bad Request, Error Value: ['var1']. Here's a simplified example: query1: select var1 from mytab; query2: select newvar from mytab2 where myvar = <dtml-sqlvar var1 type="string">; Report: <dtml-in query1> <dtml-var var1><br> <dtml-in query2>  <dtml-var newvar><br> </dtml-in> </dtml-in> Thanks a bundle in advance for any suggestions. Connecting to MS SQL

Hi, I'm trying to connect to a MS SQL (7) server. I read the note http://www.zope.org/Members/roberth/ZMSSQLServer and I followed all the steps. But I can't get connected (see error below). Other ODBC connections do work (to MDB files). The ODBC Manager seems to be happy with the configuration. And the connection do work with Delphi. Any hint ? Any "strange" constraint (case sensitive, ...) If you do go with wxPython, there is a pretty good open source IDE called boa constructor. It can be found at: http://boa-constructor.sourceforge.net/ It was written in wxPython and runs on both Windows and Linux. It also has some support for Zope. Corey

Filtered exportObjects

On my site I have quite a lot of Photo's meta_type=['Photo'] and they cause the zexp file to become very very very big (currently 86 Mb for 180 Photos). I would like to export my whole site but skip certain paths or meta types. The best way would be to write a little External Method or Python Script that calls manage_exportObjects() with a filtered object. I just need help to create the new copied object. I tried something like this: copy_of_self = self.copy.__deepcopy__() self.manage_exportObjects(filterbymetatypes(copy_of_self, ['Photo']) ) but copy woun't let me do that. if I had a copy of the object to be specially exported I could...: def fliterbymetatypes(object, metatypes=[]): objects = object.objectValues() for obj in objects: if obj is isPrincipiaFolderish(): # go further filterbymetatypes(obj, metatypes) elif obj.meta_type in meta_types: object.manage_delObjects([str(obj.id)]) ...or something like that (syntax might be bad, but you get the idea) Does anybody have a good solution? UserDB with cookies not working

Hi, I have UserDB working successfully with standard basic authentication. But after going into the properties and switching to cookie authentication it does not work. Now when I try to access a propected page it just skips authentication and shows the page. And if I switch back to standard basic authentication then reload the page, it pops up a login dialog box. can anyone help? thanks much __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
