How about like this. This is how I changed it right after I had originally created it but did not like the look of it. This does not work either... <dtml-if sequence-end> <dtml-if next-sequence> <a href="<dtml-var URL><dtml-var sequence-query>query_start=<dtml-var next-sequence-start-number>"> (Next <dtml-var next-sequence-size> results) </a> </dtml-if next-sequence> </dtml-if sequence-end> Allen -----Original Message----- From: Tino Wildenhain [mailto:tino@wildenhain.de] Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2001 1:14 PM To: Schmidt, Allen J.; 'zope(a)zope.org' Subject: Re: [Zope] Problem with ZSQL query results...sort of... RE: MS Exchange

Yes it is. Also, to verify that the library wasn't dumping anything, I telnetted to the IMAP port on Exchange and checked the data. Yesterday I also discovered that I can have Exchange provide the data in "Exchange Rich Text Format". It comes in as a base 64 encoded MS-TNEF attachment to the message retrieved via IMAP. ALL the contact information is included within it. Now if I could only decode it... ...Looks like I may be able to do it with a perl module from: http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/mod_perl/cpan-search?dist=Convert-TNEF-0.10 > > My last ditch will be to write an ASP page running on the Exchange > > server to present that info to Zope for processing. > > If you need to do that, serve it out as XML and write a > python sax parser to > process it :-) Jim Herbert wrote: > Well, whatever API there is on the windows box, you can presumably write a > python (or perl, or C++, or java, or whatever) program that queries that > information and makes it available via xml-rpc. Excellent ideas! I've been balking at this because I don't want to rely on the exchange server as who knows if any interface I use will still be there in Exchange 2002 or whatever. Also, I wanted to try to keep all coding in one box that might be sold directly to a future client (Is it just me, or do employers always try and sell their one-off solution to others?) I suppose relying on the MS-TNEF data vs. relying on the COM interface within Windows isn't all that different. I think the MS-TNEF data (if I can decode it) would be a cleaner solution though. Gaa! When I finish this I'll try and make it available for others (haven't actually written a Python module yet.) Thanks for the help!

Problem with ZSQL query results...sort of...
by Schmidt, Allen J. 28 Feb '01

I have a system that has been working fine. Changed some things on a DTML method that calls the query but have since changed it back because of the errors. This part at the bottom of the search method had been working fine. Now I get errors from next-sequence-start-number. I am getting a KeyError when accessing a query when more than 50 which is the default size. IT WAS FINE!!! It is the generic code from the generated search method created. <dtml-if sequence-end> <dtml-if next-sequence> <a href="<dtml-var URL><dtml-var sequence-query >query_start=<dtml-var next-sequence-start-number>"> (Next <dtml-var next-sequence-size> results) </a> </dtml-if next-sequence> </dtml-if sequence-end> The production application is down while I look into this. ANY suggestion is appreciated! Allen

How do I check for existence of a page?
by Joel Burton 28 Feb '01

28 Feb '01

We have our staff listed under /staff, so that you might find me as /staff?staffname=joel I'd like the return page from this method to check if I have a homepage on the site, and if so, provide a link. Right now, I'm doing this as: <dtml-in "PARENTS[1].home.objectIds(['Folder'])"> <dtml-if "_['sequence-item']==staffname"> <a href="/home/&dtml-staffname;">There is a home page</a> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> (cycle through folders under the '/home' directory, check the seq-id against my name, and if so, generate a link.) Is there a cleaner way to do this? Thanks! -- Joel Burton, Director of Information Systems -*- jburton(a)scw.org Support Center of Washington (www.scw.org)

But after I have changed all the site using encodeUrl the problem continues. For example, after viewing a page without problems, and then reloading it appears the problem. The SESSION.get('N__cliente') responds None. [JOB-Netherlands] Zope/Python developer wanted
by Cees de Groot 28 Feb '01

28 Feb '01

The InternetOne is a young ISP located in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, doing wholesale hosting through an international dealer network. We develop our on-line e-business/commerce software in Zope and Python, and need a skilled developer for this environment on short notice, either as a sub-contractor or as an employee. A temporary assignment is possible, we're looking at at least a three months' job. Necessary skills: Zope, Python, simple HTML design, PostgreSQL, Linux. We are a small shop, so you'll have a broad task range: developing software for on-line webhosting transactions (our dealers need to be able to create new virtual hostings, domain mgt., etcetera through-the-web), 3rd line support, integrating other systems (we host Intershop, Apache, IIS). We welcome foreigners, although chances are that non-EC citizens won't qualify due to time delays in work permit applications. You don't need to speak Dutch, English is fine. Compensation will be according to industry standards, for longer-term commitments we are working on a stock option program. If you are interested or want more information, drop me an email at cg(a)theinternetone.net. You can also ring me at +31 628 960861.
