SiteRoot and Zope 2.3.0

I upgradet to Zope 2.3.0 today and encountered, that no management interface was anymore receivable when there was a SiteRoot in it. I restarted version 2.2.5 after this and manually deleted all SiteRoots in all subfolders (there are some different domains in different subdirectories). After this I copied Data.* to the var directory of 2.3.0 and started 2.3.0. I now was able to add the Siteroots again in the 2.3.0 version. After this everything worked ok like before. Unfortunately the SiteRoot in one subdirectory already makes problems. I cannot access the manage interface. When I login as Superuser, I can see all the subdirectories etc., but when I click on the trouble-subdirectory, I receive an error message that Zope could not find this file. As anonymous user everything works ok. Java applet naming problem

I need to set up a Java applet to work w/Zope. Normally no big deal, but this one (IPIX) happens to include a file named "ipix$.class". I don't have access to the source, so I can't do anything about the unfortunate inclusion of the $ in the file name. What's the best solution to this situation? Write an external method that called the applet and then call the external method? Any thoughts? -- Geoffrey L. This is OK except not sure about the period(.). i never use sqlgroup. all my needs so far have been satisfied by simply chaining SQL statements with AND or OR in between. when you start using arguments to ZSQL methods you *must* provide it. you can't leave it out. in your case i would set the argument to a default value on the querying form that gets passed if the user does not provide another argument. then you can use dtml-if to test the value inside the ZSQL method and act accordingly. jens on 2/8/01 8:03, Schmidt, Allen J. at aschmidt(a)nv.cc.va.us wrote: > Thanks! sql in its own directory

Hello, sorry I didn't find this in the FAQ but it really is one: I put my ZSQL methods in /sql folder. In my /admin folder I want to use <dtml-in sql.ListInventory> But this is wrong. But what is wrong? How am I supposed to call the ZSQL method?
