DeadlockDebugger-1.0 causes the following log entry 2006-01-01T00:22:38 ERROR DeadlockDebugger Incorrectly installed threadframe module with Zope 2.8.5. Any thoughts as to the problem?

Help with Zope Python result object please!

hello, I have a python code that recieves two result objects from two different ZSQL methods. I need to join them (sort of like UNION). I can't do result1+result2, otherwise it raises an exception that the + operator isn't supported. When I try to do this (read below, I explained what i've done if you are lazy to read the code) result1 = context.zsqlmethod1() result2 = context.zsqlmethod2() if (len(result1) == 0): return result2 row1 = 0 row2 = len(result1) + 1 col = 0 for r in result2: col = 0 if (context.duplicateExists(result1, result2[row1][0]) == -1): result1[row2][col] = result2[row][col] col = col + 1 row1 = row1 + 1 row2 = row2 + 1 return result1 Basically, it loops through the rows and columns of result2 and adds them to the end of the result 1. However it for some reason raises "index out of range" and says that assigning result1[0][0]=result2[0][0] (if there is an element in both of them) is illegal because: Error Value: object does not support item or slice assignment I realize that in most programming languages you can't add them to result1 without resizing it first, but I can't find much documentaiton on member functions of the result object, so I can't resize it. I am completely stuck, I've tried everything, spent so much time on it, can anyone please help save my sanity :P Thanks in advance guys! What's limiting my file uploads?

I have a very simple form on my site: <table summary="Test form"> <form action ="receive997" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post"> <tr><td><b>Username</b></td><td><input type="text" name="username" size="16"></td></tr> <tr><td><b>Password</b></td><td><input type="text" name="password" size="16"></td></tr> <tr><td><b>File</b></td><td><input type="file" name="contents" size="30" accept="*/*"></td></tr> <tr><td></td><td><input type="submit" value="Upload"></td></tr> </form> </table> It posts to a trivial Python script: request = container.REQUEST return request For testing purposes, the contents of "username" and "password" are six bytes long. As long as the file specified in "contents" is short (7843 bytes or less), the "form section of the formatted request object looks like: form username 'something' password '<password obscured>' contents <ZPublisher.HTTPRequest.FileUpload instance at 0x91307ec> cookies ... As soon as the length of the submission crosses the 7843 byte barrier, though, it becomes empty: form cookies ... I can't figure out what's going on. In zope.conf, "cgi-maxlen" is unset (and therefore should default to zero). "http-header-max-length" defaults to 8192, which is pretty close to 7843 plus a little overhead, but the problem remained even after I increased that value to 32768. Any idea why Zope seems to be limiting my file upload size to this script to just under 8KB? -- Kirk Strauser The Day Companies

Zope LDAP connection

Hi! Is there any product that features LDAP connections in Zope. Just like ZMySQLDA for MySQL databases (not a user folder). In a fast search, I found ZopeLDAP, but it was last released in 2000. Is there someone working on ldap+zope "low level" stuff? Thanks a lot, Ricardo Alves

DateTime().Time() gets Insufficient Privileges error, why?

I am trying to get the latest time in a Python Script. I declare: from DateTime.DateTime import DateTime But when I run: t = DateTime().latestTime() or t = DateTime().Time() I always get an Insufficient Privileges error. I have combed through the archives and the web and as far as I can tell this should work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Jamie

Please help with DTML-in (newbie)

Hello, I am new to Zope and DTML. I am trying to use a python script to call a Z SQL method. The python script also has a list that <dtml-in inside the ZSQL method interates over. so my python script: -----python script words = ['one', 'two'] context.REQUEST.set('wordlist', wordlist) rs = context.myzsqlmethod() return rs[0,2] -----z sql script: SELECT * FROM table WHERE <dtml-in words> column1 LIKE ('<dtml-var "'%'+sequence-item+'%'">' OR column2 LIKE '<dtml-var "'%'+sequence-item+'%'">') <dtml-unless sequence-end> AND </dtml-unless> </dtml-in> --------------- But it doesn't want to, gives me.. Error Type: NameError Error Value: name 'wordlist' is not defined I tried feeding the variable into the ZSQL arguments list, but i got something like "cannot concatenate a module with a str" Can anyone please help me? mxODBC config probs for MSSQL

This is an issue regarding the egenix mxODBC drivers for Zope to communicate with MSSQL.Iam having problems configuring th emxODBC on Zope.....Iam not being successfull in creating a connection to SQL server. The error iam getting is: *EGENIX.COM mxODBC Zope DA* Problem connecting to the database Connection string: Driver=SQL Server Connection pool entry: 0 Error message: ('IM003', 0, '[iODBC][Driver Manager]Specified driver could not be loaded', 8222) Any kind of help is appreciated. HTTP Post Handler In Zope

Hi everyone. I'm converting my personal web site from a Wordpress blog into a ZWiki wiki site. I transferred all of the content, and would like to create some "redirect pages" so that anyone visiting my old page url's would be redirected to their new home. So, if someone wanted to visit the following old, Wordpress url: http://mysite.com/?p=30 ...the would get redirected to this ZWiki page: http://mysite.com/SomePageName The problem is that I'm not sure how I can "catch" the old url requests. I tried creating a Script (Python) object named "?", but Zope didn't let me use that name. Does anyone have any idea as to how to do this? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Tom Purl
