I use your product called Simple Directory of URLs. (http://www.zope.org/Members/Roug/SimpleURLs) The thing is that I want to query for one more item other that Title, URL, Description and Section. I want to be able to add for example "Contact email" and "Alt. URL" and maybe more later. I don't know much at all about ZCatalogs, but I guess that one can simply add another field to the NewEntry object, (??) since all fields are sent to a object called CreateEntry and the code does not depend on form-field-names. I experimented a bit with the HTML but my harmless changes does not appear! even after restart.

I am trying to create a cookie based on the value returned from a sql method. The following code fails with an invalid syntax error. <dtml-in SQL_get_cntry> <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setCookie('country_cookie', <dtml-var cntry_cd>)"> <dtml-in> Any guidance will be greatly appreciated -=Brad=-

Hi All and be patient, I am new to Zope, After I have installed Zope on my Linux box and read almost all documentation, I can't find a little example how to create: 1- a single main page as I usualy do with HTML (index.html -- the main one); 2- how to call another page (page1.html) from the main one; 3- how to insert an image; Where can I find all the steps I need to create a mini portal? generating <dtml-var with dtml

Hi, I have a dtml-method which is going to generate a data enter form like what metapublisher is doing, but fully in dtml, now I have the following problem: The method generate a DTML document with fieldname as its id, lable as title and the input code as its content, its help text as help. Assume that the field name is abc and the label is Abc and the data entry form input code will be: <th title="help text">Abc</th><td><input type="text:int" name="abc" value="<dtml-var abc>"></td> The code which is used to generate the above is : <th title="<dtml-var help>"><dtml-var title_or_id></th><td><input type="text:int" name="<dtml-var id>" value="????"> The problem is I don't know how ??? should be. I have try <dtml-var <dtml-var id>> which is not acceptable by zope. If I use <dtml-var <dtml-var id>> It will generate <dtml-var abc> not what required <dtml-var abc>. I have attached the interfacew.zexp which is a folder, you create a sub-folder for each form under it and use the interface to generate the field objects, then you use genform to generate the form.
