Our goal is to extend Zope's appeal and allow people _more_ flexibility to work in a language that is comfortable to them. You certainly wouldn't have to worry about Perl unless you choose to. Hi Chris, Hi Peter I really appreciate your help but I had already seen the Zope Architecture Model. Wath I am looking for is a model which shows the relations between the Zope Classes (Folder, File, DTML Methods, ...) calling an Python builtin function
by Felipe Alvarez Harnecker 25 May '00

25 May '00

Hi Zopistas, it's a pain looking to variables defined in a form such as checkboxes that can be a string if one is selected or a sequence if many are. to solve this problem i'd like to do something like: <dtml-let checkbox="list(checkbox)"> ... ... </dtml-let> That is, calling the list function of Python on checkbox. But that doesn't work, neither <dtml-let checkbox="_.list(checkbox)"> Beside of this, is there a way to test if foo is a string or a sequence or whatever ?? Thanks. -- ______________________________________________________ Felipe Alvarez Harnecker. QlSoftware. ZClasses newbie question
by Graham Chiu 25 May '00

25 May '00

I've a ZClass derived from a DTML Document. When you add a DTML Document, it always has some default DTML present. How do I get my ZClass to do the same? ( I want to call my instance like <dtml-var myZclass> to display the object as opposed to doing this <dtml-var "myZclass.display(myZclass,_)"> ) -- Regards, Graham Chiu gchiu<at>compkarori.co.nz http://www.compkarori.co.nz/index.php Powered by Interbase and Zope
