Testing for NULL values in TinyTable

Hi, I have a problem accessing TinyTable cells having NULL values. In the following table: Columns: name r1 r2 r3 Data: aaa, 1, 2, 3 bbb, 1, 2, NULL (the NULL is added by TinyTable when no value is specified for a cell) When iterating over the table rows:  Each cell is added to the namespace, so I can access it with , or  The problem is that I can't deal with r3 in the 2nd row. Everything I try to do with it (like , ) ends in a "You are not authorized to access r3" error! Any ideas? Pb with Zope-1_11_0pr1 and extra acl user folder.

Hello I have a new problem using Zope-1_11_0pr1: - The added user-folder seams to have no effect. Inside the CVS I found that this is a know bug: User.py V1.79:'Changed to use this to fix a problem that caused all added user folders to be ineffective.' So I got the lastest Role.py(1.79) -> same result. I got all the new AccessControl python files-> same My extra user-folders are still ineffective. After putting some debuging print arround User.py, it look to me that the validate method look inside a user folder which contain a list of user = []. Except if I put my user in the top acl-folder. Has someone a solution? (Jim?) Thanks Gilles Lavaux

Fully render dtml object from external method - solved !

At last. With some help from Kent Polk, I stumbled across a way to do what I needed. This little external method will spit back a fully rendered html version of every dtml document (methods work too) in the folder you call it from. Looks like the calling of the dtml object with self, request and globals as parameters is the way forward....I'm sure there's a more elegant way to do this but at least it works. Simplest example of INSERT

Have you filled in the ZSQLMethod's argument list with col and fla? Unless a variable name is in the argument list, it is NOT found in REQUEST or parameters in a call, ONLY in the containing folder. AFAIK this is a security feature, so that you can parameterize a query using acquisition and properties of the acquiring object, without allowing the REQUEST to override parameters unless you explicitly specify. For example, you could have ZSQLmethod "base/larch/newstuff" as INSERT INTO  (ID, ) VALUES (, ) with "new_id" and "new_value" in the argument list. Then "base/larch/newstuff" accepts "new_id" and "new_value" as arguments, and looks up "relation" and "attribute" in "base/larch", while "base/larch/parrot/newstuff" looks up "relation" and "attribute" in "base/larch/parrot". Neither one allows ".../newstuff?relation=forbiddentable..." since "relation" is not in the argument list.
