Oh good it's not just me, I compiled Python with threads to get ZServer working then, all of a sudden, ZHTTPServer don't work no more. So I took the threads out and lo and behold it works again, (8^)). The symptoms I'm getting are that ZHTTPServer just sort of sits there and does nothing. No errors in the log, nothing. I think I'll try this fix 8^). Your perfectly right and about twenty seconds after posting, I realised and set the PYTHONPATH and it worked. At least ZServer started, I am now having trouble getting ZServer to play ball with FTP connections, I'll struggle on for the moment, since as the docs say, ZServer is for playing with at the moment. I don't intend to use it for any mission critical stuff at least 8^). Thanks for the message. We have said this publicly enough times that I'd feel wrong about going back on it. I appreciate the sentiment, that the lying bastard commercial software companies use version numbers as marketing. However, the software that we'd like to pattern ourselves after -- say, Linux and Apache -- are pretty conservative and true in advertising. Retrieving the current date

This may sound like a strange question, but is there any facility in DTML for displaying the current date/time? It seems that I need to write an external python method to return the current date/time? This is easy enough, but it doesn't seem right. Is this correct or did I miss something? John

Hi all, When trying to start ZServer's start.py, after making the relevant changes, and compiling in threads etc. I get this message: log: adding channel <trigger at 8134518> Traceback (innermost last): File "./start.py", line 19, in ? import zope_handler File "./zope_handler.py", line 121, in ? from PubCore import handle File "./PubCore/__init__.py", line 86, in ? import ZRendezvous File "./PubCore/ZRendezvous.py", line 88, in ? from ZServerPublisher import ZServerPublisher File "./PubCore/ZServerPublisher.py", line 86, in ? from ZPublisher import publish_module ImportError: No module named ZPublisher I looked in the PubCore directory and lo and behold there is no ZPublisher module.
