PrincipiaTime with MS-Access ODBC data

I have an Access database that I get to via ODBC. One of the columns is type "Date/Time". I want to see if a record is "recent", as in the previous 7 days. I guess this means something different then running Microsoft Beta software ;-) --At least it's GNU and I hope that these "shallow bugs" and soon fixed. I found support for MailMan at http://www.list.org/ The to do list shows these issues relevant to my problem: Bugs "Stale" addresses don't update properly when new bounces come in (stale means we had some bounces, but delivery to that address started working again before we booted them from the list) Bounce handling Add more patterns for bounce handling Send mail to people that are being removed w/o their knowledge (even though they're likely not to get it). This morning I found that I was unsubscribed to this list when the options set at: http://www.zope.org/mailman/subscribe/zope Were changed to ON without my knowledge: Disable mail delivery Turn this on if you want mail to not be delivered to you for a little while. On The last message I received was Feb 4 1:30PM This is the second time that this has happened. (First on Feb 1st) Has this happened to anyone else? My e-mail account has continued to receive e-mail without problems from other lists and sources. I have sent details to zope-admin(a)zope.org No replies received therefore I am doing this "escalation" to the whole list to see if others have similarly been unsubscribed. I also changed my password .... I know I can read the missing messages at http://www.zope.org/pipermail/zope/1999-February/date.html#start But it is inconvenient.... Thanks. -bobo connor

sql query that has 1 row result

Hello, Let sql_count_bucks be: SELECT count(*) as Number FROM MyBucks I know that this query will always have *one* row, and i want to use this value. Is there a better way of writing this than:  kinda unreadable, isn't it? Another example: suppose i want a document to display an article given the article id in a database. That is, i want to display the article whose id is 2 with http://mysite.com/document?id=2 As id is the primary key, i know there will always be one article that match the query. Is there another (better) way to write:  Article title: <p> Article content: <p>  It's not very important, because this way of writting works, but i wonder, just in case i missed something in the FM. Hi, It is not clear for me why you don't use the ORDER BY clause in your SQL statement. Of course in this case you have to store month number instead of month name in your Gadfly database(to provide the right order). Jeff, I think you should use quotation marks in the if tag:  I haven't found the equal function in the DTML documentation. I have never use it. Have you ever try this: ? problem with structured text format

Date comparison problem

I'm trying to build an if statement by comparing two date values (BeginDate, EndDate)retrieved from a SQL query. If the two dates are equal, I just want to output the date once otherwise, I want to output both dates. I can't figure out how to do this. Error Message: Sorry Error Occurred - ??

Upon connection to ZopeHTTPServer I am getting the subjet error message. From the docs I have read I am guessing it is related to the var permissions...but I have not got them right yet I guess. There is also a HTML message in the page that a frame capable browser was required, but it is (Netscape 4.5) Zope was bulilt from the 1.9 source tarball. No error messages. I have tried running ZopeHTTPServer at root with no avail as well. This was built on a FreeBSD v2.2.8 OS, and using the same browser I have successfullly stated Zope on Linux RedHat with the same browser. I have also made permissions the same on both systems, but no joy. This is proberly a very simple error I am overlooking, but it is eluding me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA, Dick
